The wait was expected, the amount of time spent to fix neither was beyond comprehension. After an hour, he told me my dishwasher doesn't get power. I called for this reason... after insuring him it wasn't our fuse boxes, we have multiple and inspected 3 times a year bc of our pool system, he says maybe it's the outlet and you need and electrician?! No sir, I need someone to take the door off my dishwasher and change a fuse and check the wires. Bad start. He did check the fuses and boxes. He did nothing to pull our dishwasher out or take it apart. Hour later, after dissecting on the front side of our freezer with the door open for the same hour he says we bought a used refrigerator. I inform him we bought it new from Pieratt's and have the paperwork. Not interested. Then told me our refrigerator on top would die in a day or 2, just not true. I was informed a lot about how cell phones are tracking us and I should be nervous, great advice bub. Fix our stuff. If my wife hadn't gotten home 2 hours and 15 mins after he'd been here while our rescue dogs were waiting out back the entire time, I'm not sure how it would have worked, except definitely overcharged. He told me he would only charge us full on one appliance and 50% on the other after the initial $130 service charge. His solution for our freezer, it would only take them 3 hours and $2000 to fix our freezer bc we bought a 'used' one from Pieratt's with the paperwork and details he never took to concern. I should have trusted the reviews. Bad Angie and her List.

He was able to fix the repair on the spot. Also, they only charge a diagnostic fee if you don't decide to move forward with the repair. Other places charge a diagnostic + the cost of the repair, which is why I went with this business. Highly recommend.

Amazing Service from Barry at TIS Appliance Repair!…read more I can't say enough great things about Barry from TIS Appliance Repair! I've had the honor of working with him on multiple occasions when he came to repair appliances, and each time, he has been extremely kind, professional, and pleasant to work with. Most recently, while Barry was repairing my stove, I experienced an unexpected water break in my bathroom--a pipe burst, and water was pouring everywhere. I had no idea how to turn it off, but Barry jumped into action without hesitation. He quickly helped shut off the water, preventing further damage, and even assisted me in calling the emergency rental number to get additional help. His quick thinking and willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference in what could have been a very stressful situation. This is the second time I've interacted with Barry, and both experiences have been exceptional. TIS is lucky to have someone like him on their team--his kindness, professionalism, and dedication to helping others are truly outstanding. Barry definitely deserves a holiday bonus (and maybe even a raise!) for being such an asset to the company. Thank you, Barry, for your amazing service--you're awesome! Great job, TIS, for having such incredible staff! - Pamela

I had a washing machine that wasn't draining. Signed up for an appointment next day…read more Denny came out and had my washer apart in no time. He told me that there were two possibilities for the problem, a cheap option and a more expensive one. I liked how he recommended that we try the cheap option and see if it worked first. That's the way I prefer to do business. So far, the washer has been draining without issue. I'm out a $39.99 service fee. I think it was well worth the price. Denny explained that if the washer required more drastic repairs, they waive the service fee. In the end, these guys seem like honest, knowledgeable repair technicians. I would definitely recommend and use again.

As a business owner myself, I know how much weight reviews can carry, so I put a lot of thought into writing this. I've given Pieratt's multiple opportunities to fix my situation, and I have proof via email, text messages, and phone call logs to show the effort I've made on my end. My refrigerator issue has been ongoing since July. In that time, I've had two separate loaner fridges, but only because I've been the one repeatedly reaching out. Any communication I've received has been a result of my persistence--not their initiative. For the past two weeks, I've heard nothing at all, while the replacement fridge they dropped off continues to sit unused in my dining room. To make matters worse, I lost over $600 worth of groceries because their service team failed to communicate that my fridge wasn't working properly. I also make it a point to support local businesses versus big box stores, but in this case, I wholeheartedly regret that choice. The only reason I'm giving one star instead of zero is because the sales associate I worked with at the Reynolds location was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, the lack of urgency, accountability, and communication from Pieratt's service department has far outweighed that positive. At this point, I cannot recommend Pieratt's until they show they can stand behind their products and take care of their customers.

Anticipate needing to replace more appliances in the next year and will be happily going back to Pieratt's.

We thought awhile before posting this review but feel that it's important for people to know what…read morethey're getting into. We own a five-year-old LG refrigerator that is making a noise like a playing card in a bike spoke. The repair person, Kevin, immediately began telling us upon his arrival that our $4,300 refrigerator was 'nothing but junk.' He heard the sound, although it was quieter that day, and I also played two recordings of the sound for him. HE STATED A FEW TIMES that he had no idea what the problem would be. First red flag. He then told us that he DOESN'T WORK WITH REFRIGERANT and that he is not licensed to do so, in the event that the problem was refrigerant related. That was the next big red flag. He pulled out the frig and took off the top panel to listen further. He put a magnet in a couple places to turn off the interior lights to listen again. Then he began to scroll on his tablet TO LOOK UP ARTICLES ONLINE for what the problem might be. That was another red flag. He put the back panel back on, scrolled further, and then took the back panel back off and reset the refrigerator digitally. He replaced the back panel again and then told us to listen to see if the noise went away when we opened the freezer drawer. He wasn't in our home more than 15 minutes, had no idea what the problem was, and left us with the advice to just keep listening for the noise and TO CONSIDER BUYING ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR. He did no actual diagnostic work, didn't remove the lower back panel to get inside and listen closer, and had no advice for how to constructively proceed to reach a solution. HE THEN CHARGED US $97.50 FOR THE VISIT, a visit with no real expertise demonstrated on his part. To add to the problem, he scratched the handle of our black stainless-steel refrigerator, a scratch that is very visible. In full disclosure, we did not contact the company about the scratch because we know they will do nothing to compensate for it. We felt that he decided at the beginning when he saw our refrigerator was a high-end LG that he wasn't going to get involved with it. He should have just excused himself at that point and not charged us for the visit. Our advice would be to pass this company by, and if you decide to call them, ask for your repair person NOT to be Kevin.
