First, I noticed that the South Bend Cubs were listed under their previous name, the South Bend…read moreSilver Hawks, from 1994-2014 but were purchased by the Chicago Cubs in 2015 and renamed the South Bend Cubs. I wrote a review for Coveleski Stadium, which is actually called Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. So, everything is currently challenging to find on Yelp if you're looking for a review. I made some of the critical points in the other review. So, here it goes, 1. We were surprised we could sit behind the dugout for $13.00 per seat. Most other Low-A to High-A teams are closer to the $20.00 range. 2. For a stadium that opened in 1987, it was one of the cleanest ballparks. It's not pristine but clean for a ballpark that can seat up to five thousand per game. 3. They had free parking, and most ballparks charge at least $5.00 and upwards to $20.00. It is right next to the stadium's entrance, and plenty of street parking exists. 4. We were also surprised that they still filled the stadium even though it wasn't a special giveaway event (e.g., free hat, shirt, etc.). Finally, the crowd was focused on the game, so it was a good experience for anyone who loves baseball.

I'll generously give Rivertown Sports a third star for serving as the home bouting rink of the…read moreGrand Raggidy Roller Girls roller derby teams, but realistically, this venue is 2 stars. The rink proper looks pretty standard, with protective boards and Plexiglass most of the way around. There is a small set of bleachers for outer seating and during derby bouts, folding chairs serve as additional seating. Arrive early, because seating was nearly all taken when I showed up just after the National Anthem. And speaking of showing up early, same advice goes for parking. Rivertown's lot is very small but there is additional parking on the street in front of the center. My main gripe with this venue is its poor condition. The ceiling is literally falling apart and leaking water on the floor. I was "dripped" on from above in a few different spots, ew. The interior doesn't appear to be maintained well and even though it imparts a "gritty" feel, it is not befitting any sport, specifically one like roller derby that thrives from the paid admission of its fans. I have attended roller derby bouts in different cities and NEVER encountered such a cruddy venue. OK, maybe I will give it an additional 1/2 star for the bizarre banked dirt track R/C racing going on in a "secret" back room in the north end of the building.

Zero stars, every Saturday they have a festival with very obnoxious music played way too loud until…read moremidnight..as a resident I call the police every Saturday multiple times.. I hate this place and I spread poison about them where ever I go

Don't drink the kool-aid!…read more Overrated, unprofessional, overpriced are only a few of the words that come to mind when describing this establishment. The owner talked badly about my child to other parents and never once brought any concerns to me. My child had a terrible experience with their travel team so much so that it affects how he now feels about playing baseball in general. It's a shame that adults don't know how to conduct themselves when it comes to dealing with youth. The owners cuss at the players and call it motivational speeches then want to "pray at the plate", tell you what your child can and can't eat or drink and want to boss the parents around as well. This place is a joke. The coach ignored the fact that multiple players struggled during games and didn't help them which made the kids feel like they were not important because of the obvious favoritism going on. The only players who got help from the coaches were the kids whose parents kissed ass to the owners. DO NOT bring your child to this dysfunctional train wreck of a so called team. And just an FYI the owners kid held a knife to another kids throat. Stay far away.
