What a nice little guesthouse!!
Staying at Homelea is like staying with friends. You feel completely welcome and at home. Dave and Linda are friendly, chatty and extremely welcoming.
The rooms are small (the single room VERY small!) but clean, tidy and well appointed. The hot water pressure is pretty poor, but that aside I cant really fault the place.
There are only 3 rooms - 1 single (with private but separate bathroom), 1 twin with en suite and 1 double with en suite.
Unlike many such places, guests are welcome in the main lounge, which is also the dining room. here is TV in the lounge and in each room, coffee/tea making facilities and free wireless broadband.
Single room is £25, Single occupant in the twin room is £35 and double occupancy or the double room is £50.
Breakfast is a choice of cereals, fruit juice, tea or coffee followed by toast and a nice full English!
There are plenty of eateries very close by (I'll be reviewing one of them shortly!) and it is handy for the NEC, Motorcycle Museum and the Arden.
To be honest, this is a cheap and cheerful guesthouse, which is far more cheerful and nice than you would expect for the price. I have stayed at more expensive places locally which have been terrible in comparison.
I cant recommend the place enough, and will definitely be staying there again! read more
