What a great hotel with great employees. From the managers down to the regular employees, they all…read morehave great attitudes, are always helpful, and want to do their best to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is nice inside with a dining area, seating area, and small market. Of course, the hotel practices social distance and follows other Covid-19 safeguards. Masks are required at all times when on property. This hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. There's a car dealership across the street and on days that I was too tired to drive anywhere for a meal, I found so many cool places to eat in the neighboring parking lot within walking distance. I had a standard room and it was clean and modern-looking. I had no complaints about it. Due to Covid, they don't offer daily housekeeping. If you want service, you have to request it. There is a restaurant inside the hotel and it serves breakfast and dinner. Everything is cook-to-order now due to Covid of course. I like to get the omelettes. They were very tasty and the hash browns were crispy and not soggy like some restaurants. Dinner here is really, really good. I had dinner 3 times this week because of the snowy weather. I ordered the steak on one night, and the shrimp pasta twice. If you happen to be here during the week that they serve beef minestrone soup, do yourself a favor and order it. OMG, it was so yummy. The Creme brûlée and flourless chocolate cake were awesome. If you are in town, stay here.

Being female, it's nice to park near the hotel entrance, and if not, it's nice to park by big bright lights at night if far from entrance. The lights weren't bright and few available. Room was very comfortable. I was exhausted from traveling and working, their bed and bed sheets were comfortable and warm. I wish I could've stayed in bed longer. My event was in the university center across the street. It was very convenient. It's close to a Walmart and close to Human Bean and Starbucks. Had a good time. I would come again

We were traveling with our dog. No further storm issues. Gas was &2.98 gal. We are from Washington State so the gas prices were like Christmas. Breakfast was typical of Best Western. Better than some. We had some food in the refrigerator. We did not realize that the temperature knob was not there. So when we packed out in the AM all of our stuff was frozen. My husband went downstairs to check out and talked to a young man about the issue. He dismissed my husband with "people do things like that". My husband repeated that our food was frozen and the man behind the counter turned his back and repeated the same thing. No I am really sorry, or anything. We weren't looking for anything but it would have been nice to have someone at least acknowledge what we said. Not impressed with him. A few other issues. Bathroom door would not stay open (annoying), and beds were fairly hard. Over all a good place to stay. We found out as we were leaving that there was a tornado touch down 20 miles from us. A message to all the hotels. When we have to climb in and out of a tub, we need to have grab bars. Some tubs are very high. And we need toilets that aren't so close to the ground. Not everyone needs a handicap room but we all deserve safety .

The beds were uncomfortable, the desk chair was poor quality, and there were not enough electrical outlets to conveniently charge devices. The pool and spa area were also in bad condition and appeared unclean. I went into the spa but left after only a few minutes because of how unpleasant it was. The entire property is in need of significant updates and renovations.Breakfast was below average and did not meet expectations either. The one positive aspect of my stay was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, courteous, and helpful.Unfortunately, despite the excellent staff, the condition of the hotel was disappointing. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend it until substantial improvements are made.

It appears as though the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, but that's OK because it's a beautiful property with a pool, a hot tub, and breakfast in the morning. None of which I will take advantage of, because I'm here on business and only for about 24 hours. The young ladies at the front desk could not have been more welcoming, and helpful with information about the area and how to get a cab, which apparently around here you have to reserve in advance. If you are in the area, don't stay anywhere else except the Fairfield Inn at Laramie, Wyoming!

This was my first Fairfield Inn and it turned out to be a great choice! I used the convenient Marriott mobile app, checked in online, and notified the hotel that I'd be arriving early and indicated the time. When I arrived, a room had already been assigned to me and I scored an upgrade to a Studio King suite. I'm not sure what the regular room looks like but the suite is a very functional set up that includes a small living room with a built-in storage unit, large screen tv, love seat, ottoman/footrest/table, desk and chair. There is an excellent floor lamp as well as a high quality desk lamp if you need some extra light to work. Plugs were easy to find. There's a convenient nook with a shelf, mini-fridge, and a microwave. The bed is comfortable, firm, not bouncy at all. Pillows were in good shape and the room was clean. My ac/heater (window) unit did blow pretty hard and there was no way to redirect the air, though the thermostat was quite responsive. So, as for me, I just ended up with a lot of unnecessary lukewarm air blowing around. No prob. Laramie is only about 15 minutes from corner to corner (the Fairfield is located in one of the corners next to the airport.) The drive to the University is easy and routes you around any possible traffic in town - a quick and easy 10 minutes. Friendly, efficient service, free breakfast (which I didn't eat,) plus 24-hour coffee in the lobby (is this a thing at all Fairfields?) I'd totally stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Unfortunately, our initial experience with the front desk was deeply disappointing. When we asked for extra sheets and blankets, the clerk, Jacob, barely turned around to acknowledge us and claimed there were no sheets available. Later, when we asked again, he brought blankets but kept refusing the sheets, claiming they were reserved for tomorrow's room turn-overs. When we politely questioned that logic, he snapped back with, "I'd beg to argue that, and what do you know..." He was openly rude to us on two separate occasions, put out by basic requests, and his coworker sat right there without trying to help. The next morning, we spoke with the manager, Joseph, and the head of housekeeping. They were fantastic--apologetic, professional, and quick to explain that there were plenty of sheets in stock before bringing them right up. Joseph was our saving grace and greeted us with genuine hospitality. Front desk staff are the face of the business. While Joseph restored our faith in this hotel, Jacob's terrible attitude almost lost them a long-term customer. I hope ownership addresses this so future guests aren't treated with such disrespect.

It is very picturesque - just what you want, even in a pre-wedding venue. The hosts were extremely accommodating; we had reserved all three rooms for the wedding party and Lawrence and Danny basically gave us the run of the whole place (and put up with our late-night giggling with nary a word). They even let us take over the main space with our hair/makeup/dress tornado as we got ready, and then picked things up for us after we left - even though we promised we would take care of it when we returned! The hosts were super friendly and easy to get a long with; for our wedding nigh, my husband and I stayed in the "The Dollhouse" (it was the perfect private spot - super adorable and romantic). Walking back to the room at about midnight from the venue, however, I found myself starving (as like most brides and despite the advice not to) I hadn't managed to eat any of our wedding dinner. My husband and I snuck into the main kitchen (where we had some leftovers stored) to grab a snack. We were caught by Danny....who proceeded to whip us up a delicious plate to take back to the Dollhouse. The breakfasts were phenomenal - everything you could want in a B&B breakfast and more. Overall I could not have been more pleases with our time here. Stay here. You won't be disappointed!

They offered to contact my mom so they could check in before we got there and wait for us in our room. After a VERY long two days on the road, this was very appreciated! * They've got cookies. Enough said. * The women at the counter were very helpful and gave us a list of restaurants in the area, pointed out the ones that did door dash, and then told us about the restaurant that would deliver directly to our hotel room. It was delicious. * They have delicious iced tea and water in the lobby at all times - a welcome treat when we'd been subsisting on gas station fair for two days. * When my husband took our dog out for a potty break the women at the counter gave him what they called in "Income and Outgo Bag." This bag had a variety of treats and a poop bag - proving that they are not just pet friendly, they are pet owner friendly! * The morning we were leaving we had a very yummy breakfast, then as we were headed out we saw small bags made up on the counter. A quick check of their label showed they were a "To-go Breakfast" with a bottle of water, a granola bar, and applesauce. * One of the vacuum bags we used to cram way too much stuff in our vehicle un-vacuumed itself. My husband inquired at the desk about borrowing a vacuum the staff rolled out a nice shop vac which we were able to plug in at the light pole right next to our vehicle and vacuum the bag (again). * While my husband was waiting to inquire about a vacuum, he noticed the woman that had been behind the counter was in the pool area (a very nice and clean pool) testing the water. It turns out she was also providing supervision for a group of children who'd been left unattended by their "adult." As a pool operator and lifeguard, I appreciate both the testing and the supervision.
