My family & I visited this place twice this week. On our trip we stayed in 3 different hotels. The 1st was in Denver. The 2nd one, here. And the 3rd one in Casper. Out of all three places, we liked this place the best. Everyone was very nice/professional & made our stay so easy. Both rooms that we stayed in were clean, welcoming & had everything we needed. They even have a nice laundry room that i was able to use. If you're traveling & need a nice clean room to stay in, this is the place to go. read more

We stayed here last week for college move-in weekend. Since we plan to visit Laramie monthly for the next six years, customer service is huge for us. Unfortunately, our initial experience with the front desk was deeply disappointing. When we asked for extra sheets and blankets, the clerk, Jacob, barely turned around to acknowledge us and claimed there were no sheets available. Later, when we asked again, he brought blankets but kept refusing the sheets, claiming they were reserved for tomorrow's room turn-overs. When we politely questioned that logic, he snapped back with, "I'd beg to argue that, and what do you know..." He was openly rude to us on two separate occasions, put out by basic requests, and his coworker sat right there without trying to help. The next morning, we spoke with the manager, Joseph, and the head of housekeeping. They were fantastic--apologetic, professional, and quick to explain that there were plenty of sheets in stock before bringing them right up. Joseph was our saving grace and greeted us with genuine hospitality. Front desk staff are the face of the business. While Joseph restored our faith in this hotel, Jacob's terrible attitude almost lost them a long-term customer. I hope ownership addresses this so future guests aren't treated with such disrespect. read more

DIANE at the front desk made our stay super pleasant and great. She took the time to ask about our plans and was very kind. The rooms were nice, comfortable. I didn't like Laramie much as a town in itself, but I'd stay at this hotel again. read more

Did not get the room I reserved through the Hilton App and when I tried to discuss this with the front desk, they were very rude. When we got into another room, the room wasn't clean. it was late at night and we were too tired to go somewhere else. After contacting the General Manager of the hotel about my experience, I wish I could give a negative 5 star rating. She accused me of doing things that didn't happen and she wasn't even there when we checked in. I would not stay in this hotel ever again. read more

The Hampton Inn was affordable, my stay included a free breakfast and they had a pool and gym. I can't ask for much more. If I can, it'd be nice if they offered more gluten free and vegetarian options at breakfast. The place also needs a serious renovation because it's quite run down. The staff were pleasant enough, for the most part. Three and a half stars. read more

Nice hotel, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms! Would recommend stopping here for a nice, clean, safe stay on a road trip. My only complaints were that the bathroom could have been cleaned a little better (hairs in a hotel bathroom are my biggest ick lol) and the breakfast wasn't the best. Great stay overall. Thank you! read more

From the start of our visit, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We quickly checked into our room on the second floor, which was clean and reasonably comfortable but nothing incredibly spectacular. (The bed and pillows were good enough to sleep on, but that's about it.) The hotel was quiet for our entire stay. We also took a trip down to the pool, which was nice, although the hot tub was a bit too far on the warm side for us. Breakfast in the morning was delicious -- we especially enjoyed the waffle maker, particularly with their holiday red velvet batter. Overall, the welcoming staff and morning breakfast were good, although the rooms lacked some comfort. This was a nice place to stop on a long road trip, and we'd probably stop by again. read more

Great front desk. Helpful, informative, friendly accommodating. Just checked in. But everything looking good so far.

Pretty standard HI. Nothing stands out other than the staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well kept. Fitness center was on the smaller side with very little equipment. Breakfast was on the smaller side with only scrambled eggs when I went down. read more

Ceaseless noise all evening/night/morning. Massive dog next door barking. Children running up and down the hall wet from swimming screaming at 10pm. Doors slamming so loud the AC doesn't drown them out. When I lay on my side, i can hear stomping footsteps through my pillow - no idea where they're originating from. And you can hear every conversation going on in the parking lot. One of the worst nights sleep I've ever had. One star for the clean room and another for the moderately comfortable, if super squeaky bed. I can't help but be bitter, I have a12 hour drive ahead of me and I'm really frustrated. read more

It was clean and comfortable. Very quiet with a bus full of soccer players there. The clerks were nice to my dog and friendly. Breakfast was hot and ready when we needed it. Many choices to chose from. read more

Staff, rooms, pool, fitness center were all excellent! Check in & out were both timely! Definitely will stay here again!

Rooms are spacious they include: a couch, desk, King size bad, full bathroom (shower over tub), tv, TV dinner tray, microwave, mini fridge. At the front desk there is a quaint snack selection (microwave popcorn, cup of noodle, Campbell's soup, nuts, chips, beverages and candy). Easy check in, continental hot breakfast from 6a-10a during the week. Plenty of parking, pool and hot tub for guest use. Laundry area and small gym (treadmill and elliptical machine). Pet friendly- scattered grass and rock areas around parking lot, with poop bags readily available. Front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful during check in. read more

Late night stop at a pet friendly hotel. Front desk lady was super accommodating in finding us a spacious room to fit our two dogs. Surrounding area is very quiet surprisingly and a good amount of green space to walk dogs. Breakfast had tons of options including smoothies! Not disappointed in the selections. Far as hotel breakfast go in towns this is one of the better ones. Only complaint is walls are a little thin but otherwise great stay! read more

Hampton Inn Laramie - Hotels Near Me - Laramie, Wyoming

Hampton Inns are always a safe bet in my experience. So I look for them to make reservations when traveling. The Hampton Inn Laramie was located close to I-80 along our trip route at a reasonable price so I booked it. I also used digital (on line) check in the day before, selected a room, and on our arrival identified myself, was handed the room keys, and we were off to the elevator. The room was clean and comfortable as we have come to expect with a couple of notable exceptions. No refrigerator or microwave was in our room. For this trip it wasn't that important but with as many Hamptons as we have stayed at over many years, I had assumed all of their rooms had these...guess I need to verify whenever it is important. We had the usual breakfast choices from their rotating menu: oatmeal (always), scrambled eggs, sausage links, French toast strips, waffle makers, assorted cold cereals, fruits, etc...and, of course juices and coffee. The breakfast area was large enough to accommodate everyone with various seating arrangements. Overall it was a normal stay at a hotel from a good, dependable chain with no surprises, except for the refrigerator and microwave. We would stay here again if we are in this area. read more

Bed hard as rock. Hard pillows too. Have to drive to stadium. However bfast and staff excellent.

I was a guest at the Hampton Inn on 6/2/24. Very convenient, safe location just off I-80. Close to restaurants and shopping. Comfortable bed; clean and fresh sheets although they felt a bit thin. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful which made check in easy. Great value (with AAA membership). read more

Friendly quick service. Room was disgusting. One bed was made up dirty and the toilet wasn't cleaned. GROSS!! read more

Its clean. The decorating is cute. The front desk was friendly. Theres a fridge, large tv, and coffee pot in the rooms. But... the bed was HORRIBLY uncomfortable. And im not usually one to say much about it. But both my mom and I tossed and turned all night. I feel like I was hit by a bus. read more

Generally very clean with lots of COVID precautions. Can't say the same for the customers. Staff friendly and welcoming. As far as Hampton Inns go it's one of the better ones out there. read more

My second time staying here was more comfortable than my first. Both experiences were pretty decent. The first time, I was a little leery of the area but it turned out to be fine and I had no concerns this time around. The room was updated to Hampton's current standard. Plenty of options for food delivery so I ordered from a local deli. The room was clean, there was plenty of parking and I didn't hear any noise which was impressive considering that my room was across the hall from the pool where there were children playing and looked out directly to the parking lot since I was in the first floor. The guy who checked me in was cool. All in all no complaints. A solid experience. The only thing I would have liked to have was the digital key. read more

Nice place. Really convenient for traveling with dogs as well. Jaycee did an awesome job checking us in as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They had procedures in place to make sure ever guest was safe and felt comfortable during their stay during a pandemic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. read more

I should start by saying this is not a 5-star hotel BUT it definitely gets 5 stars from me here on yelp! I'm traveling on military orders with THREE pets. I was worried about places not allowing three pets but they didn't even charge a fee or deposit. We got a king sized bed and a jacuzzi for $89 (the military rate)! Complimentary hot breakfast was included, the staff left a nice note about the duvet being freshly cleaned, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location felt very safe. At the price we paid I'm surprised at how clean and beautiful everything was. I doubt I'll ever be in Laramie again but this would definitely be the place to stay! I'll be looking for more Hampton Inns to stay in down the road. read more

the hotel was great from the start! katarina at the front desk was extremely helpful and staff was very attentive! the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and we were very pleased! the breakfast was wonderful (try the potatoes- they're great!) overall, wonderful experience and we would stay again! read more

Our stay was great. What wasn't great was getting my credit card used fraudulently the next day following my stay. Suspect that one of the employees stole my number. This was the only place I used this card while travelling. Someone tried to buy $300 in vaporizers and manscaping products the very next day online and my husband recalled the employee who checked us out on Sunday morning had a pretty fancy vaporizer. Management needs to investigate. read more

Towns in Wyoming are few and far between so this Hampton Inn is a welcome sight after driving across the Rocky Mountains. On the outskirts of Laramie it is a quiet location with some mountain views but realize that you are in the mountains at 7200 feet altitude so if jogging is your morning ritual you will feel somewhat short of breath. Free breakfast and rooms were clean and price was reasonable. read more

Pros: clean, nice staff, convienent location, reasonable rates. Cons: Noisiest Hotel ever. If you are a light sleeper this is not your hotel. We were on the 2nd floor. You can literally hear every footstep, voices, doors opening every second thru the night. This hotel is not built or designed to dampen sound. I can usually sleep thru anything but this place is horribly constructed and not conducive to a good nights rest. On a. minor note, they use a very cheap large towel and only give you one per person. Conrad Hilton would not be happy with this place. read more

I went on a long road trip with my family, and we needed a place to sleep. I'm happy with our decision to stop and stay here! Clean, comfortable beds, and excellent service. The check-in process was quick and easy, which is what we needed after driving for over 12 hours. The free breakfast and coffee in the morning was a huge plus! If I ever find myself in this area again and need a place to crash for a night or two, I'd stay again. read more

We always try to stay at Hampton whenever we can. We found this one right off the highway on our way to Denver. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities we have become used to receiving. The best thing we like about staying at Hampton is the clean Duvet Cover we get at every check-in. The cookies and coffee that are available at night are great and I especially like the ones with the M & M''s. the breakfast in the morning was very good. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The lady taking care of it made sure that nothing ran out and it was kept refreshed the way it should be. If you are gong to be in the area this is the place to stay. read more

Nice hotel, spacious room decent bed and comfy pillows. Pool was decent size but small (expected) workout room. Breakfast was very solid as well. Would stay here again if in the area! read more

Two requirements necessary for a hotel/motel when on the road: Comfortable beds, hot showers. "check" & "check" Nice perk: Hot breakfast in the morning. "check" When making the reservation, I should have determined that the room was a "standard" with no fridge, no microwave. So when these amenities were not there, I would not have been surprised. Turns out that Hampton Inn in Laramie WY has both 'with' and 'without'. For a few dollars more we could have had the convenience of these appliances. Since it was only an overnight, not such a hardship. But for future reference.... Another slight downside for us (since we were traveling towing a tent trailer) is that there were few places in their parking area that could accommodate a vehicle & trailer. Hubby grabbed a spot at the far side of the entrance portico and no one complained, but I'm not sure it was even really a designated parking space. The property is located away from the busier, more hectic downtown area, so it is correspondingly quieter but as a consequence, there are no restaurants nearby. We might have been able to order food delivered but, instead, risked losing our parking space by driving a few miles to discover a sandwich shop instead. I'm really trying not to be negative about our experience because Hampton Inn locations are generally a very reliable and pleasant place to stay. The room was comfy and gave us the best sunset view of our whole 18 day trip. The breakfast was of the quality and variety that one can expect from Hampton and allowed us to get back on the road the next morning with no hassles to find breakfast. However, anytime we are traveling with the towed trailer in the future, I expect we will make reservations in Laramie at some other place instead. read more

Traveling during covid has been interesting, but this Hampton inn has done it well. The homemade breakfast burritos were excellent (my only suggestion would have been to make a few burritos without meat for those who dont eat meat) and every staff member has gone above and beyond. read more

we stayed here 1 night, on our road trip. we have 3 dogs, and there was nowhere to take them potty. There was snow on the ground, and its on a busy road. made it very hard! the staff was nice, but all the garbages and poop bins were overflowing, and I told them twice, never got done. the room was ok, but on the 2nd floor, which is a challenge when you have dogs. our room was not cleaned well, the carpet was gross. probably would not stay here again. read more

You seriously can't be this place for the price... - Decour is updated and has an old fashioned feel in the rooms. - Very clean. - Check-in was quick and efficient. I was hoping they would have water upon arrival but that wasn't the case as it is in other hotels. - On-site laundry is a great amenity for anyone staying more than a few nights - The hotel offers lots of little goodies like a nice breakfast, cookies and coffee in the lobby, and bags with water and fruit you can take with you on the way out of the building to your meetings - The water pressure was terrible, so don't get too excited - there are no restaurants on site so there's no room service, but there are a few places a short distance away that deliver directly to the room - Lobby is connected to the eating area - both of which make great little meeting spots for colleagues - Kudos to the sweet young lady with the pierced nose who works at the front desk (definitely a student). She does her job with confidence and a smile. When you're traveling far from home a friendly face makes a big difference! - Overall, highly recommended. read more

This hotel does not meet Hilton or Hampton Inn standards. By far one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in a long, long time. I think the last time I slept on a mattress that was that uncomfortable I was forced to stay at a Quality Inn because there was nothing else available in town. Even the sheets and towels were of lower quality than one would expect at a Hilton property. Aside from that the room was clean and the rest of the hotel was clean. The breakfast options were horrible! The bananas look like somebody had been playing ball with them. I won't stay here again. read more

I stayed one night here during a trip to UWyo and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and straightforward. I didn't have a chance to use the pool or fitness room, which were small, but they looked clean and welcoming. I booked a room with a king bed, and the room was neat and the bed was very comfortable. I only had minor issues. The first was that I had inadvertently booked an accessible room (not a problem), but the shower head in the bathroom wouldn't stay in the position it was adjusted to, and it kept sliding down the wall. The shower had issues keeping constant hot water. If I had been planning to stay an additional night, I would've asked for assistance with that, but since I checked out the following day, I didn't have a chance. All in all, a very good trip! I'd definitely stay there again. read more

We planned a trip to Laramie to getaway from the noise and routine. We were delighted with our stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was so accommodating. We switched easily from a standard to a room with a refrigerator and microwave. Housekeeping kept up with our erratic schedule. Breakfast was tasty and hot! We will definitely go there again. Kudos to management! We have stayed all over the world and can say this was one of our best hotel experiences! read more
