Did not get the room I reserved through the Hilton App and when I tried to discuss this with the front desk, they were very rude. When we got into another room, the room wasn't clean. it was late at night and we were too tired to go somewhere else. After contacting the General Manager of the hotel about my experience, I wish I could give a negative 5 star rating. She accused me of doing things that didn't happen and she wasn't even there when we checked in. I would not stay in this hotel ever again. read more

From the start of our visit, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We quickly checked into our room on the second floor, which was clean and reasonably comfortable but nothing incredibly spectacular. (The bed and pillows were good enough to sleep on, but that's about it.) The hotel was quiet for our entire stay. We also took a trip down to the pool, which was nice, although the hot tub was a bit too far on the warm side for us. Breakfast in the morning was delicious -- we especially enjoyed the waffle maker, particularly with their holiday red velvet batter. Overall, the welcoming staff and morning breakfast were good, although the rooms lacked some comfort. This was a nice place to stop on a long road trip, and we'd probably stop by again. read more

Ceaseless noise all evening/night/morning. Massive dog next door barking. Children running up and down the hall wet from swimming screaming at 10pm. Doors slamming so loud the AC doesn't drown them out. When I lay on my side, i can hear stomping footsteps through my pillow - no idea where they're originating from. And you can hear every conversation going on in the parking lot. One of the worst nights sleep I've ever had. One star for the clean room and another for the moderately comfortable, if super squeaky bed. I can't help but be bitter, I have a12 hour drive ahead of me and I'm really frustrated. read more

At the front desk there is a quaint snack selection (microwave popcorn, cup of noodle, Campbell's soup, nuts, chips, beverages and candy). Easy check in, continental hot breakfast from 6a-10a during the week. Plenty of parking, pool and hot tub for guest use. Laundry area and small gym (treadmill and elliptical machine). Late night stop at a pet friendly hotel. Front desk lady was super accommodating in finding us a spacious room to fit our two dogs. Surrounding area is very quiet surprisingly and a good amount of green space to walk dogs. Breakfast had tons of options including smoothies! Not disappointed in the selections. Hampton Inns are always a safe bet in my experience. So I look for them to make reservations when traveling. The Hampton Inn Laramie was located close to I-80 along our trip route at a reasonable price so I booked it. I also used digital (on line) check in the day before, selected a room, and on our arrival identified myself, was handed the room keys, and we were off to the elevator. The room was clean and comfortable as we have come to expect with a couple of notable exceptions. No refrigerator or microwave was in our room. For this trip it wasn't that important but with as many Hamptons as we have stayed at over many years, I had assumed all of their rooms had these...guess I need to verify whenever it is important. We had the usual breakfast choices from their rotating menu: oatmeal (always), scrambled eggs, sausage links, French toast strips, waffle makers, assorted cold cereals, fruits, etc...and, of course juices and coffee. The breakfast area was large enough to accommodate everyone with various seating arrangements. Overall it was a normal stay at a hotel from a good, dependable chain with no surprises, except for the refrigerator and microwave. We would stay here again if we are in this area. read more

My second time staying here was more comfortable than my first. Both experiences were pretty decent. The first time, I was a little leery of the area but it turned out to be fine and I had no concerns this time around. The room was updated to Hampton's current standard. Plenty of options for food delivery so I ordered from a local deli. The room was clean, there was plenty of parking and I didn't hear any noise which was impressive considering that my room was across the hall from the pool where there were children playing and looked out directly to the parking lot since I was in the first floor. The guy who checked me in was cool. All in all no complaints. A solid experience. The only thing I would have liked to have was the digital key. read more

I should start by saying this is not a 5-star hotel BUT it definitely gets 5 stars from me here on yelp! I'm traveling on military orders with THREE pets. I was worried about places not allowing three pets but they didn't even charge a fee or deposit. We got a king sized bed and a jacuzzi for $89 (the military rate)! Complimentary hot breakfast was included, the staff left a nice note about the duvet being freshly cleaned, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location felt very safe. At the price we paid I'm surprised at how clean and beautiful everything was. I doubt I'll ever be in Laramie again but this would definitely be the place to stay! I'll be looking for more Hampton Inns to stay in down the road. read more

Our stay was great. What wasn't great was getting my credit card used fraudulently the next day following my stay. Suspect that one of the employees stole my number. This was the only place I used this card while travelling. Someone tried to buy $300 in vaporizers and manscaping products the very next day online and my husband recalled the employee who checked us out on Sunday morning had a pretty fancy vaporizer. Pros: clean, nice staff, convienent location, reasonable rates. Cons: Noisiest Hotel ever. If you are a light sleeper this is not your hotel. We were on the 2nd floor. You can literally hear every footstep,voices,doors opening every second thru the night. This hotel is not built or designed to dampen sound. I can usually sleep thru anything but this place is horribly constructed and not conducive to a good nights rest. On a. minor note, they use a very cheap large towel and only give you one per person. Towns in Wyoming are few and far between so this Hampton Inn is a welcome sight after driving across the Rocky Mountains. On the outskirts of Laramie it is a quiet location with some mountain views but realize that you are in the mountains at 7200 feet altitude so if jogging is your morning ritual you will feel somewhat short of breath. we stayed here 1 night, on our road trip. we have 3 dogs, and there was nowhere to take them potty. There was snow on the ground, and its on a busy road. made it very hard! the staff was nice, but all the garbages and poop bins were overflowing, and I told them twice, never got done. the room was ok, but on the 2nd floor, which is a challenge when you have dogs. our room was not cleaned well, the carpet was gross. probably would not stay here again. read more

"check" When making the reservation, I should have determined that the room was a "standard" with no fridge, no microwave. So when these amenities were not there, I would not have been surprised. Turns out that Hampton Inn in Laramie WY has both 'with' and 'without'. For a few dollars more we could have had the convenience of these appliances. Since it was only an overnight, not such a hardship. But for future reference.... Another slight downside for us (since we were traveling towing a tent trailer) is that there were few places in their parking area that could accommodate a vehicle & trailer. Hubby grabbed a spot at the far side of the entrance portico and no one complained, but I'm not sure it was even really a designated parking space. The property is located away from the busier, more hectic downtown area, so it is correspondingly quieter but as a consequence, there are no restaurants nearby. We might have been able to order food delivered but, instead, risked losing our parking space by driving a few miles to discover a sandwich shop instead. I'm really trying not to be negative about our experience because Hampton Inn locations are generally a very reliable and pleasant place to stay. The room was comfy and gave us the best sunset view of our whole 18 day trip. The breakfast was of the quality and variety that one can expect from Hampton and allowed us to get back on the road the next morning with no hassles to find breakfast. However, anytime we are traveling with the towed trailer in the future, I expect we will make reservations in Laramie at some other place instead. read more

We always try to stay at Hampton whenever we can. We found this one right off the highway on our way to Denver. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities we have become used to receiving. The best thing we like about staying at Hampton is the clean Duvet Cover we get at every check-in. The cookies and coffee that are available at night are great and I especially like the ones with the M & M''s. the breakfast in the morning was very good. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The lady taking care of it made sure that nothing ran out and it was kept refreshed the way it should be. If you are gong to be in the area this is the place to stay. read more

You seriously can't be this place for the price... - Decour is updated and has an old fashioned feel in the rooms. - Very clean. - Check-in was quick and efficient. I was hoping they would have water upon arrival but that wasn't the case as it is in other hotels. - On-site laundry is a great amenity for anyone staying more than a few nights - The hotel offers lots of little goodies like a nice breakfast, cookies and coffee in the lobby, and bags with water and fruit you can take with you on the way out of the building to your meetings - The water pressure was terrible, so don't get too excited - there are no restaurants on site so there's no room service, but there are a few places a short distance away that deliver directly to the room - Lobby is connected to the eating area - both of which make great little meeting spots for colleagues - Kudos to the sweet young lady with the pierced nose who works at the front desk (definitely a student). This hotel does not meet Hilton or Hampton Inn standards. By far one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in a long, long time. I think the last time I slept on a mattress that was that uncomfortable I was forced to stay at a Quality Inn because there was nothing else available in town. Even the sheets and towels were of lower quality than one would expect at a Hilton property. Aside from that the room was clean and the rest of the hotel was clean. The breakfast options were horrible! The bananas look like somebody had been playing ball with them. I won't stay here again. read more

I stayed one night here during a trip to UWyo and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and straightforward. I didn't have a chance to use the pool or fitness room, which were small, but they looked clean and welcoming. I booked a room with a king bed, and the room was neat and the bed was very comfortable. I only had minor issues. The first was that I had inadvertently booked an accessible room (not a problem), but the shower head in the bathroom wouldn't stay in the position it was adjusted to, and it kept sliding down the wall. The shower had issues keeping constant hot water. If I had been planning to stay an additional night, I would've asked for assistance with that, but since I checked out the following day, I didn't have a chance. All in all, a very good trip! We planned a trip to Laramie to getaway from the noise and routine. We were delighted with our stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was so accommodating. We switched easily from a standard to a room with a refrigerator and microwave. Housekeeping kept up with our erratic schedule. Breakfast was tasty and hot! We will definitely go there again. This is a nice Hampton Inn. Our only issue was the TV not working. Room was clean and comfortable. They upgraded us to a bigger room due to TV issue. Service was friendly. We enjoyed free breakfast. It was definitely minimal. They have a waffle machine. Definitely a welcome thing before hitting the road! Coffee was delicious and we were grateful for the variety of creamers offered. No complaints here. It's a typical Hampton Inn. Decent breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We had to stop here on our trip from driving from Utah to Florida. We got stuck in Laramie because the interstate was closed. We hoped to wake up the next morning and hit the road, but the interstate was still closed. We talked to the front desk and thy gave us late check out for that day. If the interstate wasn't going to open, then we were going to stay another night. Thankfully, the interstate opened and we just made it through before it closed again. Throughout that crazy ordeal with the opening and closings of the interstate, the staff was very informative and helpful with providing what they knew.
