Bed was comfortable, and the lobby seating area was good for relaxing for a bit. Shower pressure was just okay not terrible, but could've been better. Housekeeping was fine, no issues there. Big kudos to the hotel for adjusting my rate when I noticed it had dropped since booking, not every place will do that! Overall, a good stay. Would definitely consider this hotel again if I'm back in the area.

Now bear in mind, the website claims that they have free parking. However, because this hotel is privately owned the desk clerk said that they can charge pretty much what they want to. Had I not booked the room a head of time, I would have gone to a different hotel.

My fiancé and I opted to purchase the Fairytale Package. With that package, a lot of the hard part of the wedding planning is taking off of your plate. You get a choice of a few caterers, a few florists, a few DJs, etc... all the sourcing of the vendors is already done for you! All of the vendors that Lynn has on this list are top notch professionals. There is a Bridal Suite & Grooms Suite that made the getting ready process a blast - just show up, pour some champagne, and enjoy your last few hours with your girls (or guys!) before you're married! Having the Bridal Suite with full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom allowed us to get comfy and spend the morning getting our hair & makeup done without having to worry about transportation or timelines. Like at least let us not have the bright lights from across the street glaring into our room. You should steer away from this place until they are done remodeling. They must not be doing well with business if they can't afford to at least close half the building down.

Everyone was very helpful in giving me information on Charlotte. The hotel had plenty of parking as well. It has a bar and they serve food. Coffee is complimentary right outside the elevators between 6-10AM. Breakfast is not complimentary. Close to I-85, the mall and several eateries and gas stations. About 20 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, which I loved. I plan to stay here again! Sorry, I forgot to take photos.

Mary and Andy were so conscious of giving us our space and privacy, but we grew to love them so much, we found ourselves seeking out ways to spend time with and learn from them. They gave us a tour of the home, which has been carefully renovated to preserve its rich history and architectural character, while also providing the comforts and luxuries of a modern home. We learned about the history of Salisbury and how the town has evolved since its founding in 1755! We came for a wedding but would happily return to Salisbury just to stay in our cherished Across the Pond Bed and Breakfast.
