Randy was great in answering all our questions and was very knowledgeable and insightful on our house and the situation. I was also impressed with his no frills approach. He didn't try to upsell us on anything and he gave us an honest assessment of the work to be done and the expectations with respect to time and money. They followed up when stated and were done with the job within a week. They were also the most reasonable out of all contacted (2 others), and the difference was a lot. Highly recommend you give these guys a call if you need home repairs!

Jamal's review about Takoda is factually incorrect. As the seller of that house, the window sill he…read moreis referring to was not part of the insurance claim nor the sale agreement. He was asking Takoda to do work that they would not be paid for. Takoda was amazing in getting that roof replaced so quickly so that the sale could go through instead of being delayed. Jamal needs to read the contracts and claims, and any complaint he might have is with the insurance company, not Takoda. They replaced the roof twice (because of hail damage) and did the gutters on our new house. The work is always fast, reasonably priced, and done RIGHT. I am hiring them to do more work on our new house as well. Don't let someone who is taking his frustrations out on the wrong person because he doesn't understand how insurance works color your view.

We have had them do three big projects (full siding replacement, new deck, and sliding door replacement) as well as a couple of smaller projects for us and we are completely satisfied with the results! We definitely recommend them to anyone needing the services they provide.

Premier Exteriors did top quality work, along with superior communication/customer service. Mitch and Taylor (and Jim as well) went above and beyond with their ability to communicate when products would be delivered and the jobs were scheduled to begin and end. Premier used quality workers (siding we had Tony and his brother, and the gutter guy, I didn't even get his name because he completed the entire house while I was at work!). I recall a time as Premier was re-roofing our garage that a piece of the roofing fell off snapping our garage door opener's line. The damage wasn't noticed until around 5pm. Premier had a garage door repairman out the following day to have it fixed. Again, I highly recommend this local business. I will use them again if needed.

One of the reasons we loved Holsten was their ability to schedule the job quickly and their punctuality. We have done enough projects to know that finding a contractor who A) responds to messages in a timely manner and B) shows up to the do the work on time, can be hard to find. When Holsten came out to do the bid, they were 15 minutes early and on the 3 days they came out to do the work, they arrived exactly on time or slightly early of the start time. The crew did a great job containing the dust by putting up plastic partitions and limiting the mess where they could. We will absolutely use them again.

ASBESTOS ROOF-----Thank you so much Zach Hart!!!. If you are someone who hates dealing with your…read moreinsurance company, CALL AGR ROOFING and ask for Zach Hart. He is the insurance whisperer. We have an asbestos roof original to the house built in 1939 that desperately needed to be replaced. We also had significant water damage to our entryway and stairway leading upstairs. Our insurance adjuster came out to inspect and gave us $7,000 (a ridiculous amount) to replace the roof and fix the interior. The insurance company cut a check; closed the claim and stopped returning our calls. We checked Yelp reviews, called AGR and Zach came out. He looked at everything, took pictures of the roof with a drone and said our insurance company was definitely low-balling us. He got our homeowners policy information and assured us our insurance company will pay for it. AND THEY DID. We did not have to do anything. Eight days later, our insurance company cut us another check and payed a total of $30,313. We had the entire roof replaced, interior fixed AND new gutters. Zach was in constant contact with us. He was very hands-on and always checked the completed work. SERIOUSLY, use this company for all of your roofing and construction needs. Excellent work!!

I want to start by saying that the subcontractors who actually did the roofing work were amazing…read more They did a great job, were professional, and I was very happy with the quality of their work. Unfortunately, my experience with the company itself was much more frustrating. I was very upset to discover that a commencement notice had been placed against my home before we had even discussed or finalized pricing. Each time I brought up my concerns, Alex repeatedly told me, "Don't worry about it." Then, over a holiday weekend, I received the notice from Izabella Brown. When I questioned why this had happened, I was told by Alex that it was "company policy." I found the way this was handled very concerning and felt that I should have been informed and given a clear explanation before anything was filed against my property. There was also an issue with someone coming to my property to pick up materials without anyone informing me beforehand. He pulled into my driveway squealing his tires and then did the same while backing out, running over the small end of my retaining wall and leaving marks on my driveway. This was extremely disappointing and could have been avoided with better communication and care for the homeowner's property. So while I am very pleased with the work performed by the subcontractors, my overall experience with the company was negatively affected by the lack of communication and the way certain things were handled. I would strongly recommend making sure all pricing, notices, and property-related procedures are clearly explained to the homeowner before work begins.

Peter came the next day and took more pictures and made measurements. He called me early the next Monday with an estimate, which we discussed. He called back later that morning and said he could have someone out that day. Dave showed up and pretty much by himself took the chimney down. Another worker showed up and hauled it all away. Dave patched the roof where the chimney had come up through and shingled it and also put new brick in the wall where the pipe had come out to vent the stove. Another worker came and trimmed and painted under the eave and sealed the inside wall. I was impressed with the speed and quality of the job they did and will recommend them to anyone who needs work on their house done.

After doing some troubleshooting in the attic I realized that the issue was coming from the roof. I called Above and Beyond Roofing to come out and take a look since they were the ones that replaced my roof. They came out, agreed that the leak was coming from the boot and put caulk around it to stop the leak. The leak did stop. I let them know that I would be contacting a handyman to get an estimate for the repairs for the water damage. Within the next few days I called them and emailed Above and Beyond roofing with no response. After getting the estimate I called them again and was able to talk. Above and Beyond Roofing started saying that the estimate I got was ridiculous and the leak wasn't their fault. I sent them the pictures I took, detailing the leak and the steps I took while troubleshooting. No response. I called them again today and they came out but only to argue that the estimate I got was ridiculous and the leak wasn't their fault. I am only asking them to repair the damages caused by the leak by a reputable handyman and the items I had to purchase while troubleshooting (gloves to work with water and insulation, a flashlight for working in the attic, and a can of Flexseal and waterproof tape).
