We've worked with two other roofing contractors in the Omaha area that completed the work within a reasonable timeframe. However, their teams left a lot of debris for us to clean up. We had bats get into our attic on both occasions. For our third new roof project, we decided to go with Siefken Contracting. Jared was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. The only headache we had to endure was our insurance company fighting tooth and nail to not provide coverage. Jared and his team fought for us and communicated well. We have since moved to a new home and had to replace the roof again - lucky us. We went with Siefken for a second time. We had another great experience with their team. We're currently having Siefken replace the windows in our home. This is our first time using them outside of roofing, and their team has been great to work with once again. This is a warning to current clients and future ones. Home Matters is going into Bankruptcy and…read moreclosing their doors. Do not hire them as they have no money to pay for their projects. They haven't paid their contractors either. I just came home today and received a letter from the company that Home Matters contracted with asking me for the payment for the drywall that they installed into my house. I am waiting on others to show up. They have retained 90 percent of the total that I paid them. As they require 90 percent of the job upfront. The only work performed was the electrical, which is still not completed, and the drywall and ceilings. Which now the drywall company is at my door to pay them. I wouldn't have put up the review, however now that other vendors and knocking at my door to be paid, I felt that others need to be warned.
