Our welcome there was so sweet and sincere with all of the staff coming up to introduce themselves to her and show her around. Her room was spacious with large windows overlooking some woods. The living areas were decorated bright and cheery, decorated for fall and already had their Christmas tree up. Staff were in the open kitchen baking applesauce cinnamon cutout ornaments with residents to decorate the tree (safe in case a resident accidentally ate one). When we visited the next day, they had taken her the night before to a live music event at the assisted living side, enjoyed "happy hour" (cookies and sweets), she had watched a Hallmark movie with residents in their cozy living area, and she had been given a hot bath and had her hair washed. Having just come from a hospital visit and rehab stay where care and staff interaction was minimal and (mostly) indifferent, it was such a welcome change! I was finally able to relax and sleep knowing they used a bed alarm to alert staff if she tried to get up in the middle of the night. Though her stay was short it was comforting to know in her final days she was pampered, attended to, loved on and treated with dignity and respect. Highly recommend!

Worst hospital ever. They don't care about you as a patient and treat people horribly and make you…read morewait. The nurses have horrible attitudes and only one Dr I liked. I went back in 2019 after collasping while running. I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke I was having chest pains. Thank God I wasn't having a heart attack they made me wait 20 mins for an EKG cardiogram and thank God it was normal. Turned out I had low potassium and low sodium. They gave me potassium ivs and they don't even know how to put in an IV I have tiny veins but I left all bruised smh. Also one of the Drs gave me a sodium pill and it made my sodium to high and it was scary . Had to go back and get a shot and the chinese Dr was very nice forgot her name said he was wrong to give me the sodium pill after that I would never go and would rather drive 35 mins to novant hospital. Would not recommend this hospital at all. Never again.

She loves the people and staff! Amy (Director), Linda, Kim, the kitchen staff, housekeepers and nurses for assisted living, have been the best we have ever met. Bonnie with Physical Therapy has a glowing reputation around the county. They all really care about my mom's health and well-being. The residents are friendly and engaged in so many activities. The staff keeps the calendar busy with outings, holiday observations and many celebrations. We feel like we have joined our family with theirs! Weekly trips to Walmart, Dollar General and the occasional special event.
