My My incounter with Home Instead is one star and that's being generous. I called to ask some questions about what they offer, as well the providers and support.. towards the end of the conversation with Cassidy/Cassie she started getting very short with answers and rude.. I Called back shortly after because I forgot to ask about certain accommodations for my mother. She was Very short answered and rude!! Like it was a bother to her to answer some questions. Then I never heard back from anyone. Needless to Say I went with a different company due to her rudeness and a lack of patience.. It made me wonder if the office staff is that way, how are the caregivers.. I hired them 11 years ago and they were a wonderful company to deal with and they were close to my parents house in Waite Park I don't know if it's the same owners but clearly this company has changed for the worst read more

Fun and friendly staff, but VERY inconsistent with new/old clients. As a former employee, it made caring for some clients difficult -as most take time to build trust with their caregivers. Also, multiple clients in same day with no break between made long shifts so tiring. Be prepared to run up miles on your vehicle traveling from one end of town to the next ( mileage is paid). read more

Meet the Business Owner: Jason S.

Jason's passion for seniors led him to join Home Instead Senior Care in 2013 as President of five franchises in Wisconsin. During his time as President, Jason learned the ins-and-outs of the industry, preparing him for the next step. In the summer of 2018, Jason and his wife Dawn took a leap of faith and purchased two existing franchise locations in Minnesota; Home Instead Andover and Waite Park. The goal of providing seniors the option of remaining "home instead" has been rewarding for both Jason and Dawn. As parents of five adult children, Jason and Dawn know the value of family, and would love the opportunity in the future to meet you and yours!

My experience has been amazing with the help I received from Home Instead. I had accepted to be a POA to help a friend of mine Wil now 92 years old. I realized he needed help at his home with his daily living. I had problems finding a senior care provider that was willing to commit to caring for him for lack of employees, did not service area etc.. A friend of mine told me they had (Home Instead of St. Cloud, MN) help with care of his mother in law and was very satisfied with their services. Since my first call I placed everyone I had been in contact with has been very helpful and willing to go beyond what I would of expected. We arranged and met at Wil's house discussed services with Carolyn and signed up! I was there when Hanna a supervisor/caregiver arrived a few days later to meet my friend, start work, and survey his living conditions along with his abilities. After introduction she went right to work cleaning things he thought was good enough (hahaha)! Hanna would stop sit down and talk with him at the end of tasks. She explained she was there short term and would be back two days later to help with the introduction of Margret an employee that lived a short distance away from Wil. Margret and Hanna arrived and met Wil. Margaret was briefed of Hanna's observations and plans made. I called Wil earlier that evening and I could tell by the amount of excitement in his voice and that he could not say enough good things about Hanna and Margaret! We have talked many time since and I can see that he was impacted and a friendship had been made. He said his house had never been that clean and said that "They Are Second To None!" They truely made this old man feel young and cared for! Thanks so much!!! read more

Have offered great care, stay in contact with us since we are out of state and answers all our questions. We were having trouble getting lawn care for my father-in-law and they were able to find someone to help. We have been happy with their service. read more
