Well. There were many trials and tribulations along the way, some miscommunication, and schedule…read morechanges, but Kenny showed up for our appointment in his giant van. I had rather a unique situation at the NY cottage. The moron, errr seller, had hung a light by just a wire. No box. It was not to code, but the inspector (a total POS who was probably paid off by the seller) pooh-poohed it (Kenny warned me not to name and shame him, alas, so I will merely wish him very bad karma). I was not enchanted by the light, and wanted a chandelier. Bad Plumber (don't ask) was going to hang it for $50. Another guy wanted $150. I figured that Kenny would be in the middle. I was wrong. It was $175. However, he put in a metal box, added a wooden brace, and made the chandelier adjustable. So, money well spent. The light works perfectly, and Kenny also replaced an upside-down broken outlet ($25). He showed me his Master Electrician license. I do agree that he absolutely knows what he's doing. I need more work done. While Kenny is perhaps more expensive than I would like, I know that things will be done correctly. So that's a huge plus.

Added a new outlet behind our electric range for a new gas cooktop we had to install did a great job. I hired Gianni again to install outdoor speakers (4 of them) with amps placed downstairs. Also, a great job and considered not only that it works well but that it looks good. I asked him some questions about some iffy breakers on the speaker install day, and how I can cut the 220 to remove an electric cooktop. He checked them out and promised to come back the day before the gas installers to do it for me as it is dangerous to deal with 220. As expected, he showed up, removed line at breaker and kitchen, and refused to charge me. Responsible, honest, knowledgeable, and agreeable. I will reach out to him with any electrical projects in the future.
