The strawberry cheesecake was so soft yet packed full of flavor. It was served with whipped cream and was topped with fresh strawberries and jelly. In terms of presentation, the piece of cake was well placed and was of good size for $6.50. The base of the cake was also not too thick either making it perfect for cutting using a desert fork. They also provided appropriate cutlery given the cake was to be shared between two people. This was without having to ask and was rather thoughtful. Staff were friendly and service was pleasing. Wait times weren't too long either even though there were quite a few people there. Their hot chocolate is good. It doesn't taste too watery like other coffee shops I have been too. Tucked away in the corner of the Woodcroft Plaza, this coffee shop is a gem that you definitely wouldn't want to miss.

I had the Hashbrown Stack and was really impressed with the taste (although the bacon could have been crispier). Their hollandaise sauce was one of the best I've ever had. I also had a chocolate milkshake which was fantastic. My husband had the beef burger and was less impressed, there was no caramelisation on the patty and the bacon wasn't crispy. My daughter's open melt looked quite nice and the accompanying chips were good. A look at their Facebook page tells us that they make most of their baked goods in-house (the sausage rolls looked particularly tasty). I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Their coffee is unbelievable I recommend their "depth charge" coffee, absolutely delicious! Don't let the surroundings put you off the place either, yes it's not in I guess an appealing spot to passers by. But it really is a hidden little gem! But now, the staff are great, the menu is diverse and the atmosphere is great. The cafe contains several photographs and paintings from Italy and Europe. This artwork certainly adds a lot of character to the place, as does the comfortable seating near the back of the restaurant. The first time I went, the menu was virtually all seafood. Now there are many other dinner options including pizzas and pasta. I haven't tried these new options yet but they certainly look great. One item that has my attention for my next visit is the Quattro Formmagi (four cheese pizza). They also now have a range of vegetarian pasta options too. Before their new menu, I tried their fish and chips. The chips were decent and fairly crispy with a salad that seemed reasonably fresh too. The fish was decent in size and had a nice thin batter. One thing was that there was not quite enough tartare sauce. I went for breakfast after they introduced their new menu and had their pancakes. For $8, they were quite impressive. They were very fluffy and were served with cream and maple syrup. The edge of the pancake is nice and crispy. I also tried a hot chocolate as well (on a different occasion not to get a sugar overload). The hot chocolate is made with chocolate syrup which does give it quite a rich flavour.

I have ordered a iced chocolate twice from there. On both occasions, they came out perfectly presented with chocolate powder and whipped cream layered on top. Unlike other coffee shops, the iced chocolate didn't taste like it was made from cheap chocolate powder. It actually tasted like it was made with something much nicer. They also can use skim milk, which I find much nicer than the full cream variety. The little shop can get quite busy from time to time, however if you pick your timing nicely, it can be nice and quiet. It generally isn't too noisy in there too, which is always good for when you are having a conversation. They also have a nice range of cakes, sandwiches and croissants - the typical coffee shop offerings. I have my eye on a particular slice of cake they have on offer which I am interested in trying next time I am there. Pricing is on par with other establishments and the staff are good. The wait time is good too, but varies (as you would assume) depending on the number of people in the cafe.
