I frequent this Home Depot because I tend to prefer their products a tad better than Rona. Sure it's an American company but their selection is just a shade different and they have different brands than their Canadian competition. Also I try to knock off two stones by heading to Costco then coming here or vice versa. HD is a great for what I search here for: tools, light bulbs, outdoor items for the house or garden plus electrical, lumber and other odds and ends. They do carry major brands and offer a good selection. My wife knows I can browse in here like an old man for a good hour so she usually goes to other clothing stores in the area. You need to know your pricing as items here can not be cheap. If you want cheap head to a dollar store for light bulbs and some specific cleaning supplies. If working on the house, doing renovations or any inside or outside project is calling or "honey do" lists then you can pretty much get your supplies to complete it here! They even have specific free seminars (albeit in French) for home fix it. It's a big store don't be shy to ask for help. read more
