I don't mind paying a bit more to shop locally. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices were comparable to my local chain ladies' clothing store (Reitmans, Laura or similar) -- for much better quality of fabric/construction and more interesting designs. I had a really great experience here, trying on a dozen items before settling on a top and a dress which both fit like a charm and look great. Again, a surprise because often this kind of small-scale clothing comes only in sizes small, extra-small, and super-tiny...which I am not.

With that said, I would say, low prices but at what cost? The isles are really narrow so you can't really stop, look and compare. Self checkout is a little annoying but the staff person nearby was super helpful and nice in helping me learn the proper scanning procedure.

I would call this an uber natural beauty and self care store…read more Everything is "zero dechet" or "zero waste". Sure, some products do have packaging but it's either reusable or recyclable. This is the first time in my life I bought blush powder "in bulk". That's how far they take it. Makes perfect sense to me actually. You can buy individual metal or glass straws here for a few bucks which is nice because I like choosing my own and not being forced to buy a set. Also, no packaging is nice as it's less hassle and more green. For the bulk items (food, soaps, lotions) you need to bring in your own containers, bottles, jars etc.. but they sell their own bottles if you like or even better they have a donation section stocked with clean used containers. I have this thing with fabric softener where I don't know what exactly it does or if it's necessary and I find the scents too harsh. I don't use the sheets I use the liquid. I spoke with a woman on the floor and she didn't even try to sell their own natural fabric softeners, she advised I just use plain white vinegar but after I asked she said they sell some as well. I found a wonderfully scented natural soap that works as a dish soap and hand soap. It's been very gentle on my hands and the scent is light. The atmosphere here is very relaxing. The lighting is soft and welcoming. It's very popular so the products turn over quickly and are fresh.

Nice little boutique with a nice variety of butters, oils, dried herbs and flowers ect... super friendly and helpful staff.
