The service from this company was great from start to finish. Our quoter was knowledgeable, provided advice and guidance on the best solution for us and the installation team were both polite and considerate, keeping mess and noise to a minimum. They even showed us how to use the products post installation. I would thoroughly recommend Home Counties, who I might add are competitively priced. read more

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. UPDATED: 12th November 2022 Finally they came back and tried to fix the numerous issues with the loft. They charge of £5300 to do this loft was seriously ridiculous. They are far from professional and every person who saw the work initially carried out said "this is not the standard we provide" or "this is so unacceptable and we don't do work like this." When all the while it is. The repairs were to have a recessed light in the space and their incompetence continued when they didn't even manage to do that. After MONTHS of waiting and clear written instructions of what they were to do.... They didn't. Utter joke. Complete rip off artists and I would never be able to recommend them. UPDATED: 6th September 2022 Since this review the company has been around and assessed the issues and are coming to correct them ASAP. They certainly have been apologetic and accept my issues are valid. Initial review: 29th August 2022 Sadly the finish of the project was far from professional. The charging certainly was. Disappointed. As soon as we paid. We were totally ignored. Disappointing and sadly our experience although not like many others.... Meant we now need to employ other people to make good the situation. Disappointing read more

Home Counties Loft Ladders fitted a new loft ladder, boarded our loft and fractured a water pipe. They have denied all responsibility. We have water damage to ceilings, walls and a light fitted which fell from its fixings read more

We have installed loft packages in many local homes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Northampton, Oxford & North Middlesex much of our work coming from referrals from our own happy customers. We come to your home and carry out a free site survey to provide you with a no obligation quote. We understand what you wish to use your loft space for and will recommend to you the most suitable and cost effective solution. After that its up to you – no hassle from us. All our work is fully guaranteed for both workmanship and materials, whilst we are in your home we treat it with total respect – laying down protective sheets on your carpets and furniture, putting covers on our boots and cleaning up before we leave. We’ll leave your home clean, tidy and dust free – just with loads of easily accessible extra storage space!

We needed more storage space and had a loft area that we couldn't reach without climbing over pipes and through gaps, making it totally unusable. Home Counties Loft Ladders soon sorted that out! They put a new hatch in, with a wooden ladder, and fully boarded the area. It's brilliant! So easy to hop up into the loft now.
