From the very beginning, the staff, nurses, and management have been exceptional. They have been accommodating, responsive, nurturing, loving, and genuinely caring toward my mom. Most importantly, they make an effort to keep the residents engaged, comfortable, and having fun. As a daughter, knowing that my mom is surrounded by people who truly care about her means more to me than I can put into words. From the moment I first connected with Pandora, the manager, I had a feeling my mom would be in great hands. She made the entire transition so much easier for our family and has continued to be incredibly responsive, compassionate, and accommodating. Olma also deserves a special mention. She greeted me with open arms from the beginning, and every single time I see her, I am welcomed with that same warmth and kindness. There are so many other wonderful people there whose names I am still learning, but each person has contributed to making us feel welcomed and cared for. Moving a parent into an assisted living facility is an emotional and difficult transition for any family. Having a team that treats your loved one with kindness, dignity, patience, and affection makes all the difference. Thank you to everyone at The Club at Wellington for welcoming my mom and making her feel at home. They have daily fun activities including exercising (Thai-Chi, Zumba), crafting, Bingo, the food is healthy and you can see how well your loved one is cared for. Everyday is a celebration at the Center. They keep your love one entertained and active which is a priority for providing excellent quality of life. I highly recommend this facility. I was appalled when I sat down with the admissions administrator and she told me that it's $2,500 to share a one bedroom, some of the bathrooms are in the hallway if you're lucky enough to have one attached to your room. The rooms are so small you can get one queen size bed maybe two twins if you're lucky and a dresser. apparently this was an old hotel at one time converted into an assisted living facility that needs updating. They need to tear down and rebuild. When I left here, I was in the worst, sad and depressed mood for these people who reside here. Just terrible.

He's a keeper. He's probably the main reason that my mom is there. Helen is so professional and immediately makes you feel like family. Virtually thousands less than other communities that I toured in the area. Wow!
