Sadly, this branch of Home Bargains, which is located in Bolton town centre, fairly close to the Bus Station and Train Station is one of the poorest branches of the chain I've noticed.
The store overall felt highly cluttered, which is often typical of budget stores such as Home Bargains, but it was cluttered to the point, it felt like a challenge just to get to the tills, the overall feel of the store really was awful because of this, while also considering the old-fashioned nature of it, and the store actually had a pretty vile smell to it, which I also didn't like.
The product range wasn't great overall, especially when compared to other stores such as the newer and more modern Quality Save store, closer to my home in Middleton which is basically the same store as Home Bargains, but different branding, which is confusing with the main image of the main brand overall, but of course this isn't going to affect the rating of this store.
I'm struggling to comment further with slightly unhelpful rude staff, and a store with a terrible overall feel mainly down to the store being old-fashioned and smelly with a subpar product range, I sadly feel this branch deserves a single one-star rating. read more
