We discussed over the phone and he picked up the wood for a really good price the next day. Then I decided to go to another store and get some furnitures (6 box springs). He went to pick them up as well and delivered them, he nicely set them up in my place so it is not in the way as I was just moving in...While he was still at my place doing the drop off, I decided to tell him that I had some furnitures in my storage in NY and that I do not want the storage to charge me a fee for the next month which is in 4 days, he said, to me, " oh, let's go get it so you don't get charged the fees, I can do it for you"! . In about 30 hours, at around 4am, Eric drove all the way to NY to my storage, I had someone meet him there to open the storage door and to help load the truck, he drove back the same day and deliver the furniture in the afternoon. I was so happy, so blessed and I saved on storage fees :). Ever since, Eric has been helping me to pick up and deliver with his truck. And also, since this is a new home and I love to update any homes that I move into, Eric has been helping with all the paint jobs, Changing the light fixtures, and more... I will be leaving more reviews on other jobs that he's currently doing at the home.

THANKS FOR SCREWING ME OVER, BOLIVAR…read more.. Last Wednesday (2/26/2025), he told me that he would come out on Sunday (3/2/2025) (i.e. FOUR day's wait), at 10 or 10:30am, to check on a leaking water line. Well, HE NEVER SHOWED UP, nor did he even have the decency to give me a courtesy call or text, to let me know what happened and/or why he couldn't make it (and he could have easily just rescheduled the service call, for another time). By 11am, I texted him, but never received a response. At 2pm, I texted him again, and STILL, no response. At 4pm, I called him, and, of course, he didn't answer his phone. I literally never heard a word from him, at all... The previous time [only other time] that he had come to my house, I gave him a $45 tip (on a $105 invoice; yes, a 43% tip), as well as a glowing review here on Yelp, because he had stayed late at my house, in order to fix my water heater lines, and he had also stayed in touch with me, to let me know that he was running late at another job. I had even recommended him to a friend of mine, and now, she's like, "Oh, heck no, I won't be calling him now, because I don't have the time or patience to deal with people like that." So, now, my water line has been leaking for four more days, and now, I STILL have to find someone else to come out to fix it, before I will be able to leave out of town. Obviously, if he had just told me that he couldn't do it, I could have already hired someone else to fix it, in the meantime. But, stupid me, here I was trying to give him some repeat business, as well as some new business (from my friend). Unfortunately, after this ignorance, I definitely can't recommend him to anyone...

B-Dry went out of business during Covid. Then I found Worldwide Waterproofing and they did send a representative out to look over my system and see if they could help. He was straightforward, told me the system was probably okay but needed a new sump pump and battery. He offered to have his company do the work but told me that a good plumber can do the same job probably for a lower cost. I appreciated the advice and would recommend Worldwide Waterproofing to anyone considering installing a complete basement water proofing system.

So I called my insurance company and they gave me a list of trusted providers for water damage restoration, EnviroCare was one of them and closest to the property so we called them up. They came within an hour of calling and immediately started extracting the water from the basement. The techs were very professional and explained how it works, apparently they take care of everything with the insurance company and I don't pay anything out of pocket! That was great to learn that. I was expecting to get hit with a $5000 bill after the insurance is done with me. They cleaned the water, dried the place for a few days with huge fans and dehumidifiers, then started the restoration of the walls, carpets and parts of the ceiling. They were done in exactly 6 days from the moment they arrived and started working. Even the insurance adjuster was impressed. I hope I won't need EnviroCare again but if I have another flood they're the only ones I will call and recommend. You guys are awesome!
