There are many high quality musicians there bringing the christian music to life, as well as the stage set up and all the technicians operating the equipment. The pastors are excellent in getting their message across to you including personal stories of their own. Which helps in knoiwing they have thier faults as well, jjust like all of us listening to the message each Sunday---GOD is in the house---waiting for you to ask for his help. There alot of ways to get involved in this church, from joining small groups, to participating in many of the various behind the scenes groups, None of which we have been involved as of yet. She was sitting on a chair because she can't sit on the floor. After a while some women who I think were volunteers came and sat next to us, and then more and more of their friends came over. They overcrowded us and made it difficult for my mom to be sitting there on a chair. Then they started pulling the plates of food that were in front of us over to them. What a bizarre thing to do. When my mom asked them about moving over, they said something about how they sit there everyday. Wow, a mosque volunteer clique! Who cares that you always sit there. If it's that important to you, put reserved signs. This passive aggressive disgusting behavior should not be allowed. What an obnoxious disgusting disrespectful truly ugly group of women. The mosque needs different volunteers and these ones shouldn't be allowed to even step inside if that is how they treat people, especially the elderly.

This review is of their Annual Greek Festival. My friend and I attend this evening for the very…read morefirst time and what a GREAT experience. I had read that parking was located at an elementary school (West El for the locals) less than a mile away so as we were driving to the location of the festival which is right at the church we saw the signs for parking at West El and pulled right in. As we pulled in, a yellow school bus was pulling up and the line was already about 20 or so people deep waiting for the bus. Many people with families/younger kids. The bus was full heading toward the church which drops you off right at the driveway entrance to the facility. There were bouncy houses for the kids and possibly some games (we didn't walk through that section) along with a tent in the front of the church hall serving Gyro's with some tables inside the tent and a band playing greek tunes and people, both adults and children dancing in front of the band. Inside the church hall were some vendors along with two buffet lines and a dessert line. The buffets were staffed and signage was very clear. All of the traditional greek faire was offered: chicken and beef souvlaki, pastichio. spanikopita, grape leaves with meat, moussaka, stuffed peppers, lamb with rice, greek salad, a cheese pastry, rice, rolls and probably a few more but my friend and I chose to order 4 to share: the beef Souvlaki, pastichio, spanikopita and a stuffed red pepper. The beef was cooked well but was not tough, the spanikopita was made with fresh spinach but was a bit on the salty side, the pastichio was good and not smothered in cream and the stuffed red pepper was just the right amount of rice and meat. We were quite full after sharing those four. We could not resist the desserts though and shared three: a bougatsa that was just fresh out of the oven (our FAVORITE!!), another dessert that had phyllo on the bottom and custard in the "inside" and appeared to be rolled/covered with finely crushed nuts (our 2nd favorite) and a diple which was our least favorite. The people in line around us were raving about the diples which is why we decided to try it. As we sat to enjoy our desserts, a group of women sat across us with a plate of loukoumades. This church is AMAZING…read more Both my wife and I loved the service and the passionate people who make up such a great and welcomed addition to the city of Lowell!! Being 1st time guest we were warmly welcomed by the church's body of both other consistent parishioners, Pastor and Elder. The church building itself is large, bright, and has a club (not like Webster hall) like auto system It's also nicely laid out. Extra space for the kids to run around and play a simple game is catch with a small nerve foot ball in side a church.....Yes you read that right play foot ball inside a church. How could you not love this??? God and NFL. You get the vibe from looking at the outside of the building that this is a True church that was build for the decades to follow and updated with love, passion and attention to every last detail. I was immediately hit with the sense that something very special is going on in this place. Bigger then any one can really wrap there mind around in my opinion The whole church not just the building but more importantly the body that makes up the church has an amazing and truly inspirational story. I believe that the church is only as big, spiritual, humble, and loving as the people who worship there and you will find all of these people in this House of God. The pastor him self is very laid back, down to earth and personable. (3words same meaning I know) He has been gifted with a naturally organic gift to spread The Gospel. Is it bad if I say I would grab a beer with him?? He's sermon become full circle when he applied a teaching that the Bible tells us occurred over 2K years ago and brought it home when he told us how we all have Spears throw at us in our daily life and gave us ways spears can be low point we face daily. He also made a valid point when it was said it's how we face those challenging times that make us better. It's about pulling the spares out of the wall or keeping it in and not questioning Gods well. (Kinda wordy but I can't seem to put this paragraph in less words) I would be bat $hi% crazy and need to see Chip the church's sole elder and Medical Doctor if he was a psychologist (he's not he's a vascular surgeon) if I did not mention the music leader. I know the entire music staff is truly gifted, it takes a LOT to go on stage and sing, but I did not hear there voices well. Back to the music leader- Her voice is powerful enough to transmit and carries through out this large church. She has tones of grit and grace If that make any sense. I was setting there and just said to my self her voice is gracefully grit. What a gift/talent she has!!! She is not only singing but playing the keyboard. She writes her own songs and dose not sing your grandfathers Christian music, hers is upbeat and happy. The music is sang with beauty and such grace. The songs have deep really deep meaningful meaning that are put up on a huge projector on stage. The church has a growing congregation it seem as they had about 50/60 people when I want today. They just launched in November of 2015. Here's what I loved the most; all the people were unique in there own God given way. Young, old, Black, Asian, Hispanic, White. Christians, Catholics and maybe even non- believers. Just a great group of people that care for one another enjoying great music followed by a well thought out sermon given by a man who dose not make it seem like he's giving you Bible lessons but more friendly wisdom that happens to be in a church and he is just so happens to be a Christian Pastor You can't afford not to go to this church. My wife and I are looking forward to going again at some point hopefully be able to partake in the Lord's Last Supper as they don't do it weekly. We're Also looking forward to seeing the fully immersion Baptisms and in the words of Chip "The BIG banquet that follows."

The pastor is exceptional at capturing your attention, delivering messages that are not only engaging but also deeply rooted in the word of God. His ability to both entertain and enlighten is a rare gift that keeps you connected throughout the service. One of the best parts of this church is the variety of groups you can get involved in. I'm part of the soccer group, and it's been an absolute blast. The people are wonderful, and it really feels like a family both during and after church. The connections I've made here have been invaluable, and I've learned so much through the sermons, growing closer to God in the process. Paved and with a partially groomed groove in the grass/dirt, the Derry Rail Trail is a great place to run with plenty of nature, trees, ponds and other sights along the path. Very safe and clean too.
