If you have a Groupon for full int/ext $89 then it's worth it. The exterior looks decent as does interior. Windows were extremely streaky. The main reason I get detailing down is because I'm horrible at cleaning the inside of the windows. This is why I gave 3 stars. Also, it only took 1.5-2 hours to complete my car which seemed overly rushed but maybe they had the staff for it. I normally use Driven Perfection in Weymouth but just wanted to try a new place because of the Groupon. I also purchased an interior and exterior detail package from Living Social. Anthony was very accomodating and was able to squeeze my car in on Saturday afternoon. I dropped my car off around 2 pm and he called me about 30 minutes before it was finished so that I could get there by the time it was complete. He did an excellent job and even found a pair of earrings I had lost in between the drivers seat and center console! The inside looks like a brand new car, carpets are cleaned, dashboard is shiny, and leather seats were cleaned and conditioned. I purchased a gift certificate to have my wife's Accord detailed both inside and outside. We decided to just do the interior of both hers and my Ford Ranger with a super cab (two doors and just two seats, back jump seats fold up. First day was the Ranger and they could not figure what to charge (car,SUV or Lg SUV). Finally decided on a car even though less upholstery(two seats) and same carpeting or less. Back next day for the Accord, come time to settle up the balance was $80 more than we figured. At first they didn't take any balance from the gift cert. Then still too much. The owner, decided that the Ranger was an SUV after quoting it as a car. finally after quibbling (the tech had to keep calling the owner), we came up with a balance which I thought was still wrong but just wanted out. Definite lack of professionalism. I am sure they have had a small truck like mine before. Calling it an SUV is ridiculous, since it has about a third of the interior, and probably half that of a sedan read more

This was the worst detailing job I have ever had. I had a gift certificate for a full interior and exterior detail. The person who detailed the car was extremely rude when the poor job was pointed out. I took many pictures of all the unclean places, printed them and sent them to Mr. Holmes with a note saying how disappointed I was with the service. This all took place in June, I have never heard from him and now it is September. I wish I knew how to include a picture so you could see just what my car looked like when I picked it up. WOW Pissed I have to give this place one star. I want to give it zero. Plain and simple place sucks. It's a ma and pa shop that does average work. Pay a premium and go to your dealer. Had a remote starter put in and they destroyed the wiring system. I hit unlock the car starts, I hit the trunk button my lights go on, my car hazard lights randomly go on while driving and won't shut off... Also got tint here and it was streaky and had scratches in it. The "full detail" is a joke. Get a car wash it'll be the same and save you $150. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I purchased an Amazon Local voucher for $99 for a full detailing in May. I called repeatedly to set up an appointment, with no call back, and was finally able to get ahold of someone 10 days later via email. I was told they are booking out 3 months in advance for detailing (even though I was already charged for the voucher). This does not seem like a very good business practice, since they most likely count on people not redeeming their $99 vouchers within the time limit that you have. I will be getting my money back, as I hope others will too. read more

Holmes Auto Detailing provided exquisite service. I was amazed by the transformation. In particular, the cleaning solution was fresh without a toxic chemical aroma, the inside was pristine with great focus on the upholstery and dashboard. In addition, the exterior was polished to appear as a mirror. It's important to note that the results were long lasting seeing as I had the complete detail during the winter season. The staff are very precise and helpful. I was impressed by their accommodating nature. I work as a nurse making my hours erratic; however, Holmes allowed me to drop off my car early before opening and pick it up after hours to complete the service. I should've paid more attention to the negative reviews. Holmes Auto Detailing combines incredibly sub-standard work with god awful customer service. They literally spent 20 minutes on my interior detail at a cost of $55...what a joke! Never a good sign when a company must resort to Groupon to promote their business. After months of having two puppies that are brought to daycare 3 days a week, I decided it was time for a detail. I brought my car to Holmes after speaking with the owner, who was super courteous and clearly customer service driven. He gave me a window time for completion but actually completed the car sooner which was so appreciated. The process was made seamless as drop off and pick up were after hours and Anthony accommodated that. Have had 2 experiences and both have been superb!! Had car detailed before coming out of the hosp w/stem cell transplant, which requires an extreme clean environment. I explained this to them and made the extra effort to do some air cleaning thing to eliminate any residual chemical odors and cabin cleaning. I highly recommend these guys, VERY thorough. This is my honest review. I purchased the Holmes Auto Detailing groupon on 1/24/17 for my minivan. The groupon was for a complete detail (interior and exterior) advertised on Holmes website for $225. Off course, I thought I was getting a great deal until after they completed the detail. In my honest opinion, they perhaps tried to do a good job, but at the end it was not a good job done. The outside looked the same as when I brought the vehicle in; I cannot say for sure they detailed the outside. The inside was cleaner then when I brought the car to them, but it was still dirty. It needed to be vacuumed again and there were some parts in the car that were still dirty. See pictures taken at the location right after the service was completed. As I pointed out to the detailer, what I seen, he took offense and stated, "I knew you were going to complain". Interesting. We then exchanged some unfriendly words. I was surprised at how the detailer guy came at me; In my experience, that was bad customer service. I would have been happy to pay $40 - $50 for the service completed. In my opinion, it was honestly not worth more than that. One more statement from the detailer that caught my attention; When I pointed out the uncleanness in the car, I stated, this is a $225 complete service? He replied, you paid only $98. I will allow you to make your own conclusion, based on his statement. I thought I was getting a $225 complete detail deal for $98, but it was far from that. Worse, in my opinion , it was worth $40 - $50. I understand that others will have a "good experience", but this was my honest bad experience. I purchased a deal through Amazon Local for a Complete Interior and Exterior Auto Detail for SUV or Van for $99. in addition to the fact that you must tip on the full value therefore I gave an extra $40 on top of this. As I got into my car and started to drive off, I looked above on my dashboard talk about dust, did you even attempt to wipe it? I think not. How about the shifter, don't worry I'll clean that too. I got home and looked at the exterior, and there were white patches of wax all over it! Purchased a Groupon deal and was surprised it only took 3 hours from when I dropped it off and was called to pick it up. It was raining when I picked up my vehicle on my lunch break so I didn't have time to check it out til later on when I left work. Dash and carpets were clean. Windshield was clean, windows were clean up to a certain point. The windows weren't open when they were done so the top 2" of window were still dirty. Not a big deal until you crack open all your windows and see the dirt. The entire back window and tailgate were completely missed and still dirty. Tires were dressed, but only in certain spots, like a wipe around was done but in haste. My leather seats were cleanER, but not fully clean. I have dogs and while they don't shed so much, they do drool. The top of my seats still had dog drool on them. I had to use a Lysol moist wipe to clean it myself.....and it came right off which makes me wonder how they "cleaned" my seats other than a quick wipe down. I wouldn't have minded having to wipe my vehicle down myself within 2 hours after having a FULL detail done if I hadn't had to pay an extra $25 for "extra dog hair". Apparently not cleaning the seats was included, but vacuuming the dog hair between the seats wasn't. I have short hair dogs and if there was a bunch of dog hair I wouldn't have an issue, but there wasn't. I did a quick vacuum myself the day before dropping it off to make sure. No leather conditioning was used on the seats either. Just looks/feels/smells like Armorall wipes. While the few things I had left in my console were nicely put in the back of my vehicle, the change that I left seemed to vanish. It may have been just a couple bucks total, but its still my couple bucks. I should have known it wouldn't be the best job when the owner asked me "to return the Groupon and we will just honor the same price" as it was easier for them that way. Maybe they were just super busy, or because I used a discount Groupon deal I'm not sure. Either way, it was not a full detail worth the supposed $225 they would normally charge. read more
