Who doesn't love Beautiful Pink Flamingos. My favorite shopping excursions are in Dania along Federal Highway. There you will pass Alex's Flamingo Groves. For me it's every bit as much fun as going to the Flamingo Gardens. Naturally there's a gift shop. The Coconut Patties stick out in my mind. We never went home empty handed. There were various variety of citrus. Grapefruit being one of my Mothers Favorite. Breakfast in our house always started with a half grapefruit. My favorite were the pink ones. I must have eaten enough in my life. I now have a terrible sensitivity to citrus! To this day Flamingo Groves on line store is my go to for ordering and shipping Florida fruit to family and friends. If there's a rotten piece in the shipment it has been my experience that they promptly send the customer a replacement for the bad pieces of fruit. If you love Orange Juice and Fruits you will not be disappointed. There's a lot to enjoy at this historical tourist location. There's tourist spots to enjoy up and down this stretch of Federal Highway. Go and spend the day. I'm a fan. I'm there in spirit today.........

It was a bit hit-or-miss in terms of selection and value, so definitely look closely at what you're getting before you pull the trigger as some of the items are a decent price and others are much higher, likely on purpose to draw you in! Staff was pretty much nonexistent despite spending a fair amount of time in the store looking over mugs, men's clothing, souvenirs, and kid's t-shirts. The front wall and roof of the store screamed Candy Candy Candy by it's vibrantly colorful lollipops, gum drops and taffy decor. This was going to be a quick stop since parking on Wilton Drive is limited and notorious for citations by the aggressive meter maid. Based on my concern, the sole employee advised that a few free parking spaces in the rear are available for a strict maximum of fifteen minutes, which is a kind offering. The inside was much larger than the front view of the building reflects. The giant yellow Haribo bear stood proudly by the front door with bags of sour gummies hanging from it's chest. For chocolate enthusiasts, there was an entire section dedicated to fresh chocolate treats. At a quick glance, it was evident that a large amount of the candies were old school big brands. Aside from candies, there were novelty gifts which include coffee mugs with celebrity, pride rainbow and 80's TV shows like Seinfeld, Peanuts or Laverne and Shirley prints. Hundreds of hanging decorative ornaments fill the ceiling but unsure if those are for sale. Very cool candy store with alot of originality and snug parking.
