I'm appalled looked at these 1 stars.... and there are plenty..... Anyways, I will speak to my experience: I went here because I heard about it here and there. Will never return. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and gruff, the place felt dirty, and massage itself sucked, didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, there was no presence, or attention. So, I did NOT tip (and I usually always tip because its a nice thing to do, especially if you really appreicate the services etc but I was upset by my experience and a massage is supposed to relax you).. when she was done, I got dressed, and start walking towards to the exit door and the message therapist accosts me "Why didn't you tip me?! I gave you a massage!?! Why no tip!?" I just shook my head and left. I will not return. They are rude, really poor interpersonal skills and have no skills in their craft.

I'd never had a massage before my referral to see Zoe at Synapse. WOW! Wow! WOW!!!!!!!…read more I may be a novice at receiving a massage, but there's no mistaking that Zoe is on a different level when it comes to knowledge and care. Her introduction was so very considerate. I have Chronic Knee pain after five major knee surgeries and replacements, and Zoe's specialized Scar Movement massage work is so impactful, both on pain reduction and even range of motion! Wow! Who knew! I didn't... in fact, this is year 23 since my injury, and for the first time, I'm receiving really important and helpful care for my body, and Zoe's massage and body work at Synapse, is an essential component in my healing work. Thanks Zoe!!! FIVE STARS doesn't really do justice to what working with her has meant to both my body and to me (both physically and emotionally too)!! I recommend Massage at Synapse, and with Zoe in particular, with my whole heart (& my whole body too)!!!

It doesn't matter what kind of work you do, I guarantee you that you have knots in your neck, back and numerous other spots on your body thats causing tension, headaches and hindering good posture. Luciens hands are MAGIC! I seriously felt like he put a spell on those stubborn knots that were causing me discomfort and made them melt away. I could LITERALLY feel the knot he was focusing on in my neck and he worked them with a combination of his hands, a little roller tool and arm movement to free up that knot. He used a great analogy "These knots are like rocks, we are working them into pebbles and then into fine sand" In addition to this analogy, when he had released several other stubborn "rocks and pebbles" not only did I feel as fluid as sand, I felt such a release like the sea had just washed over my body! Sounds wild right!! Who wouldn't want that kind of release? I can feel the difference, my neck moves better, my shoulders aren't scrunched up to my ears, my upper back feels stable but relaxed. I swear I feel like my arms are longer just from getting rid of all those "rocks" thats were stiffening my body up! I can seriously keep going with how amazing I feel but you should show yourself some love and self care and set up an appointment with Lucien! You won't regret it!

Found Mila on Yelp and read the reviews - what is said is ALL TRUE!!!…read more I can't say enough about the high level of professionalism and quality of her massage therapy skills; coupled with her desire to share her extensive knowledge and experience of preventive care and you can't go wrong with enlisting her massage therapy services. Her rates are competitive especially when you consider her flexibility to offer "come to you" service. She is very responsive and easy to work with for scheduling. She is also very conscientious, discussing what "ails" you and how her therapy skills can assist; I really appreciate her table-side manner, never pressuring, belittling or negative. In the past, I've used services from Massage Envy, high end boutique spas, and other individual massage therapists and IMHO, Mila ranks among the top for overall satisfaction!! The only downside (for us customers, but AWESOME of Mila) is that as demand for her services grows (and I am sure it will), she'll continue to be busy, so proactive coordinating with her for scheduling will be a must. In my book, she's a MUST HAVE in my rolodex for massage therapists!!

Go see Bill! I'm Thai American and have had plenty of real Thai massages in Thailand -- the local…read morekind, not the tourist kind -- and this is on another level. WOW. The 4+1 Thai Solution Massage (Nuad Benja Phakhi), which is definitely not your traditional "stretch and press" Thai massage. Let's start with Bill -- he has amazing energy--calm, compassionate, and completely devoted to healing. He listens, stays fully present, and with his methods, finds tension you didn't even know existed. This style of massage works on the root causes in the tendons, not just the surface symptoms in sore muscles. And you stay fully clothed the entire time -- no lotions or oils -- just pure, focused bodywork. At first, I wasn't sure about booking a full 2-hour session, but I trusted the other 5-star reviews here, and I'm so glad I did. It gave him time to address my entire body. Each touch felt customized and responsive -- nothing about it felt routine or transactional. I walked out feeling light, loose, and completely reset. In fact, I felt so good I bought a package and I booked my next two appointments before even leaving! Years of muscle and tendon overuse can't be fixed in one visit, but this made a huge dent. I'm excited to keep coming weekly and eventually move to a maintenance cadence -- whatever Bill recommends, I trust him completely. If you want a massage that's intuitive, detailed, and truly healing -- book Bill. You'll be so glad you did. Thank you N' Bill!!

It's not the most pleasant experience but it felt good and it hurt at the same time. I could tell my body really needed It. She had me fill out a form, and made sure to go over all the details of what I wrote. Andrea did check in a few times when she was applying more pressure to a specific area, which I found comforting.
