I came in without and appointment and They took me right in, the doctor was fine but Liz the manager was awesome. she made me feel welcomed and she cracked me up with her personality. not going to lie, if i were 20 yrs. younger and she like old men with bad feet i would ask her out. great place with great people read more

I had a very good experience: I was moved throught the office quickly and efficiently. Everyone was nice and of good cheer. Dr Schlam is very knowledgeable. He performed an injection w minimal pain and quickly. I was a family doctor in the area and I sent all my patients to him. I still refer to him including myself. read more

This is my second time reviewing Hollowbrook Foot Specialists because I cannot speak positively enough about this podiatry clinic. My infant son (almost 7 months) is unfortunately prone to ingrown toenails, and we recently visited Dr. Schlam for a second time for treatment. Dr. Schlam and his assistants are compassionate, empathetic, and well-versed in their field -- within moments, the ingrown toenail was removed and my son's toe is once again on the mend. If you have a young child or baby with foot issue (especially ingrown toenails), absolutely do not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Schlam -- you will be in excellent hands! read more

This place has no respect for their clientele. Because I owed them $20 for an X-ray my insurance company did not cover they decided to charge me $50 because they had to send me a notices. Then they threatened me to send me to collections for $20 which they increased to $50. Is it because I'm black??? They thought a black woman could not pay $20! I'm well able to pay $20 ! This was disgusting and I will not recommend or use this Foot Doctor again! What a way to degrade someone!!! read more

I had got a surgery from Dr schlam back in February, my family and I noticed it was never really healing the Incision was always red and swollen from day one never looked right, went to my post op appointment all my concerns were completely ignored. Just a short couple weeks after my surgery I wake up one morning 102 fever vomiting ended up going to the hospital I had cellulitis and almost went into sepsis and the cause was the surgical site and the lack of antibiotics after surgery. Dr schlam was informed about my hospitalization went to Vassar looked at me and told me in fine wasn't even in the room for 2 mins. I'm 22 years old and almost died from this surgeon I never received even a phone call seeing how I was doing after as a patient I thought I would of gotten that. Me nor any of my family members will be stepping foot In here again. read more

I would like to start this review with more stars. . From the moment I walked into the office to walking out the door after my appointment was finished was fantastic. I have been to several other foot drs and this gentleman is above par. I have been dealing with an issue for over a year. I just thought that this was the appropriate time for this condition. After throughly talking about all my options, I couldn't believe that this could of been avoided months ago. Dr. Schlam listens and is very knowledgeable. I have been Dr.Schlam for about 15 years and there is no better then Dr,Schlam or the people in the office they are so nice and helpful in so many ways just had foot surgery and it all went good had pain for a while and Dr, schlam worked so hard on doing all kinds of things then we had to do surgery sorry i didn't listen to him before and did the surgery sooner foot feels much better and almost pain free, i just wish there were more people around like Dr,Schlam and all the girls that work there. I started going to Dr. Schlam because I had a hangnail and fungus on my toenails.It's been over 9 months and my feet are much much better.The fungus is almost gone!.Dr Schlam and his entire staff are very very friendly,easy to talk to,and they take time to listen to you!I highly recommend going here if you have any problems at all with your feet! read more

Run! Biggest scam artist around. Charges you for "surgery" when he clips a toenail. Talks all nice then tries to rip you off at every turn. If you call to refute or discuss a charge for something you never asked for, like the cloth ankle braces that were shoved in a bag and handed to me without explanation when I was leaving and were useless - they don't answer your calls but immediately send your bill, even for fifty bucks, to collections and harass you at work and home, day and night and put it right on your credit report. It's just a sleazy money making rip off place. Go to a real doctor. He accomplishes nothing every time, does nothing you can't do at home yourself and then charges you a veritable fortune for fake procedures you never had. Tried to be nice/reasonable, but they persisted in messing up my credit for fifty bucks without discussion - heard from so many others they all got the "braces" handed to them too on their way out, $56 a pop, per customer, tally that up for the month, along with all the "surgeries" performed...and here I thought he was such a jolly old guy. The absolute best foot care ever. I know from personal experience and an emergency situation where I just walked in pain and with staff and the doctor he took care of me right away.
