Dhenu was very confident in my case and she showed full support during entire process. We had a in-person interview with my spouse in SwagatUSA's office which is conveniently located in Lincoln park area. One of the things that was very important to us was the ability to upload our information and supporting documents online. Although the website that SwagatUSA uses is basic it does get the job done. In past I have done work/study related petitions by myself so it was a relief to have a full team to double check my forms/documents and mail them on time. We also found the mock interview part of the process very helpful. I want to give a big shoutout to Isabel. She is very helpful and polite to work with. She had been very quick to respond to all emails I sent. Overall we received great service and we highly recommend SwagatUSA. `

They have been reliable and worked within tight deadlines as needed to meet my requirements. We translate content into 35+ languages, and they are happy to offer helpful suggestions when a new language is added to the list. A dedicated project manager is assigned for each account, so you work with someone who knows your company and your content. Their QA has been top-notch - their checks have caught problems that existed in the original documentation, calling them to our attention, and allowing us to make corrections in both the English and the translations. Their translators are in-country, meaning that Russian is done by a native Russian speaker living in Russia, Swedish by someone in Sweden, etc. Translators living in-country is important, as technological terminology evolves at a rapid rate. A translator who has lived in America for 20 years is likely not going to be able to provide quite the same quality as someone who is in-country. The translation process involves the following: - request/receive quote through web portal - approve and start translation process - answer any questions/clarifications that the translators may have - translations go through QA by a 2nd native speaker - content is DTPd if necessary - review/approval of translations by my company's native-speakers - if DTP is involved, a DTP QA is performed by native-speaker - translations delivered through web portal Types of items translated: user documentation, marketing content, product firmware, software applications, CD interfaces, and web content. Source applications provided to them for translation: Word, FrameMaker, InDesign, MadCap Flare, Excel Spreadsheets, and other (software source files, etc).

In the follow-through, everyone has fallen short of the service that Interpro has provided to us. They have been consistent, reliable, supportive with new technology, new languages, and transitions. Every conceivable change that a company can experience, Interpro has weathered the storms by our side as an equal partner. Their pricing is consistent with industry standards, their staff are consummate professionals that are current with all industry technologies, their linguistic partners are vetted and best in class for their languages. They've proven themselves to us time and again. You couldn't ask for a better service professional in your corner. With regard to work they've done for us, we translate to 2 varieties of French, 2 varieties of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Italian, Slovenian, Russian, Catalan, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Swedish, Thai, and Maori (yes, Maori!). In format, we send out the usual office documents such as Word or text files. We also translate for software interfaces and online help so we send java properties files, XLIFF, MadCap Flare and Lingo files. We've worked in two different Translation Management Systems, GlobalSight and now Smartling. Interpro has supported us in both and is currently a Smartling partner.
