It was difficult to find a veterinarian and office our family clicked with after our beloved vet retired. The reasons I trust Dr. Botsford and staff with my wonderful animals are #1. When my animals have an actual medical problem, Woodland fits them in. They are compassionate and quick. It's important to me that my animals are seen by the same vet that has their history when they need medical attention as is inevitable. Not only well visits and vaccinations. #2 Dr. Botsford and staff are gentle with my animals and my animals are not afraid after appointments. I have been to different vets in the interim between and I know my babies! They trust Dr. Botsford and staff. #3 Woodland and Dr. Botsford are unpretentious. My cat peed himself in the crate before an appointment. We tried to clean him up. Without hesitation Dr. Botsford picked up my cat and just took care of him! . We live on a farm and sometimes my animals may not be perfectly groomed. I feel no judgement, Only concern for the issue at hand. The office is very clean, but not fancy. The prices are reasonable and Dr. Botsford tells u options, recommending the most sensible. #4. I just opened up their Christmas card and it's SO CUTE! 6 dogs looking up at the camera at the same time, with a little kitten in the background. Dogs look smart and like they are loved . Background setting is behind the office desk. No costumes or poses. UNPRETENTIOUS! When we look for a Doctor to take care of our animal children, we don't need pictures with Santa or all that fluff! Our family needs a Doctor with old school values. A Doctor that really cares about animals. A Doctor who will see them when they're sick. It was our first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised they even offer Sunday appointments. We saw Dr. Garrett, who was incredibly kind, thorough, and genuinely attentive. She reviewed his entire file before meeting us and actually listened to the details we shared about his behavior. We discussed a clear path forward, and he's now scheduled for surgery to have most of his teeth removed. I appreciate that this location has 18 veterinarians, several of whom specialize in dental care, and that they handle everything in-house, including blood work. So far, I'm very happy with the quality of care and professionalism at this veterinary hospital. I'll post a separate review after his surgery.

They gave us a blanket for the floor so our boy was more comfortable. Dr. Vermey was very up front that our boy was not good. He explained the bloodwork and our options. He had been sicker longer than we thought and we ended up putting him down. Dr did shed tears with us as our boy slipped away peacefully. We have dealt with Dr. Vermey before. The staff did give us a vile of our boy's fur and a blanket for his burial at home. There were tears and hugs all around. He is an absolute gem of a human being and an outstandingly knowledgeable animal health provider. He takes his time, offers explanations, and will do his best to keep your visit cost at a minimum. What I specifically appreciate is his willingness to see your animal as soon as possible, but take his time to go over options and preventative care. He really considers the whole animal. When my childhood dog passed after 16 years - we rescued her from Oxford so she only ever saw Dr. Glidden - he was very comforting and sympathetic for us and our girl. After working with us and our yellow lab, Lacey, for so long, it was emotional for everyone involved. Since Lacey passed, I now have two poodle mix that go to Lakeville - one being a puppy. The staff has been so accommodating in helping us get the puppy, George, used to the vet experience. When our older dog got his annual vaccines, they gave the shots right in the room with us, which helped our Louis stay comfortable. Dr. Glidden and his team were quick, gentle, and respectfully aware of his body language. It kept our pup's stress to a minimum. The building interior was recently redone and looks wonderful. It could save your pets. WARNING: This company removed my google review. I have to go back to google and upload my review again every time they remove it. This is not an honest company you want to take your pets to. We need transparency and honesty in the veterinary industry. Our pets can't talk, we are their voices. I am trying to warn others and all they care about is their image. Note: Their Facebook reviews are all fake, they delete negative reviews. I left a negative review on their Facebook page and they removed it. That shows you the type of people you are dealing with. They can't delete this review since they have no control. Warning: Please do not go to this veterinarian clinic it could save your pets life. They performed unnecessary procedure on my cat that got them killed. They knew my cat was stressed out and still did more test. They should have brought my cat to me as soon as my cat was having trouble breathing. Instead they continued to stress my cat out by doing the x-ray, then doing blood test. They did not even draw blood from the neck which is the correct way, they stressed my cat out and SHAVED their leg and arm. All this caused my cat to stress and have a heart attack. A responsible clinic would have turned down the x-ray and advised for my cat to calm down first or to say we do not want to take the chance to stress them out. Instead they wanted to do as much procedures as they can to charge me. I REGRET GOING HERE. They killed my cat. They do not care about your pet, all they care about is money. They did an x-ray and could not even read the x-ray, they told me they are not sure and we should do a full blood test. The whole time my cat was panting and having trouble breathing in the back room and they did not tell me until after they completed all the procedures. If I knew I would have not done the blood test. They kept my cat in the back room and took so long without me. They didn't tell me my cat was stressed so I agreed to do the full blood test. After all those procedures (knowing they are going to charge me) they brought my cat back to me and tell me my cat is having trouble breathing. After all that time and stress they wait until they are done to tell me that. As soon as they brought my cat to me my cat took her last gasp and died. My cat was crying as they were dying! They still did not tell me what was wrong. THEY ARE VERY INEXPERIENCED. I made the mistake of listening to everything they told me to do and that ended up stressing my pet and causing them to go into cardiac arrest and die at their care. I brought my cat alive, they brought my cat to me dying. When you go to them they will sweet talk you into doing things you don't want to do. They take advantage of the fact that you are worried for your pet and will do anything for them. I told them I have another appointment to a specialist and they told me to cancel it and they will take care of me. Please do not listen to these fake 5 star reviews. They reply back to the negative reviews saying you got the wrong clinic. Before you reply back telling me I am confused with another clinic, I AM NOT. Before they reply back saying that is not my name I never saw them. I'm using an anonymous name so they do not harass me. I lost my cat because of them.
