Still shaking. Towed to the nastiest motel the baymont in Lafayette. Homeless haven. Check in. That was my night. The next morning. I called the hero's. Sweet man didn't mind my Cali gen at 7 am. Said they would get some one out with in the hour. And they did. The sweetest cutest young man by the name of Chance came to my rescue. He was up and under my truck seeing if he could get the spare down No such luck. But he brought me a tire. And watching him work with such professionalism and speed. Reminded me of my dad. Who weed tires. His hands were the hands of a hard working man. His entire deamor and manner was charm polite kind and empathetic. He gave me his card and said if I ever needed help no matter the time or day. To call. They would come to me. No matter where I was in the area. My fiancé simply asked if it was possible to take off the add on that we previously had chosen for our new tires. Understandably the girl checking us out was a little frustrated, but she went to get her manager and continued checking us out as normal. When the manager came out, we were immediately spoken down to and given immense attitude. We hadn't said anything to her yet, and she was already speaking to us with extreme disrespect. My fiancé and I were perfectly fine with paying for the add on because we had already agreed to it, we just thought about it more and wanted to see if it was possible to take it off. If not, we would have happily paid for it and been on our way. Instead we left appalled at the audacity of the manager. We used my mother's account, who unbeknownst to me, is a Walmart member or whatever club thing they have. So the add on we had chosen for the tires were free anyway, but nobody told us that until the manager finally got a grip of herself and unclenched her jaw to tell us. I'm 20 years old and have never left any sort of negative review anywhere, but never in my life have I been spoken to with such disrespect. Neither my fiancé nor I were causing any problems or causing any type of fuss. We simply asked a question. At the end of the day, the work the guys outside did was great and time efficient. Next time, however, we will be sure to go somewhere else.
