Very happy so far with the service I got here. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and it's…read morerelatively easy to get to. I'm a 54-year old woman who has always hated my teeth. A cheapskate father and then a widowed mother pretty much ensured I would have crooked teeth for life, and then after my wisdom teeth were pulled, the problem got worse. After I was widowed, I decided to take a giant step. The first ortho I went to wouldn't let me do anything but Invisalign, which doesn't really work with my lifestyle (constant noshing and coffee drinking while working from home). I wanted real braces because we're all wearing face masks now anyway and the treatment time is shorter, but because I'd had a root canal and several crowns, she was insistent. Also, she wouldn't touch me until I had a special x-ray to determine if my TMJ/jaw arthritis was still active. Since that was $8500 for the braces and another $6000 for the x-ray (out of pocket!), I walked. I am not spending almost $15K on my teeth. I told my dentist I was considering SmileDirect, and she begged me not to, because of the real damage I could do to my bite, possible teeth falling out etc, and she spooked me. She told me to try Pure instead because they were more reasonable. I did, and paid $6200 right upfront. WAY better. I'm the only person over 40 in the entire office (including the doctors!), and the SpongeBob and Powerpuff Girls and whatnot are entertaining on the TV when I go in, but I far prefer it to my old snaggle-tooth look. I had to go in once for a very painful piece of toothbrush bristle stuck (I thought I'd busted a wire!), and I go in next month for my first tightening. No charge for that, as part of routine maintenance. If you bust or lose brackets, it's usually no sweat, unless you do it constantly. After about 5, then they have to start charging. I love looking in the mirror and seeing my really ugly protruding tooth on my bottom row has finally been tamed and is no longer going on walkabout away from all its buddies. SO excited to see how my smile will look after this and getting them whitened afterward! Thanks, Pure!

I've been to five different dentist offices here in Edmonton, each one had its pros and cons but…read moreuniversity Dental was by far the best. Each time I have been the staff have been very friendly and kind. They answer all the questions I have about the process they will be doing on my teeth. The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. I will continue to go here and get my teeth work done

I can't say enough great things about this dental office…read more Before I even went there, the receptionist over the phone was incredibly helpful and informative. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. This is absolutely my neq dental office from now on and my husband and I will also be taking out children there because it is just that great!! So happy I found them!

My first experience with Dr. Jefferies was relaxing and easy going. For people who hate dentists, I suggest visiting Parkstone Dental in Sherwood Park. Dr. Jefferies will change your attitude and make you feel at ease when laying in the dentist chair. His clinic is amazing. The design and aesthetics also give you the relaxing feeling you desire. The support staff are also accommodating for those with jitters. But there is one aspect of Parkstone Dental and Dr. Jefferies that I really want to emphasize. He is fantastic with kids. Both my boys have seen him and had amazing experiences. He has a way of talking with children to make them feel at ease that you don't see many Dentists able to do. I think it's his great sense of humour and youthful personality that does the trick. Nonetheless, I suggest yo bring your children to see Dr. Jefferies if you have a child who is nervous or scared of the dentist.

I was impressed with dr. Jeffries from our first meeting. A very personable young man that made you feel so comfortable. The receptionist, Michelle, is extremely ill-suited to a job dealing with people. They don't do direct billing, so I had a bill of $4000 to be paid before leaving. I am a poor university student. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I was upset about having to pay such a huge bill, and made me cry. She was ridiculously rude while I was numbed up and still in pain, saying I didn't understand how the 'real world' worked and I needed to learn a lesson. I have good benefits which covered most of the bill, but for whatever reason they don't direct bill, so I had to max out my credit card. I got back to by car and sobbed because of the how badly I had been treated. They need to fire Michelle!! My father had a similar experience with her at his appointment, likening her to the ugly troll who doesn't let people pass her bridge without payment. Left an awful taste in my mouth and will tell everyone I know not to go there because of her.

His gentle, professional care and state-of-the art equipment ensure only the best treatment. The staff are very good at following up with reminders of appointments and calls to ensure that you're feeling okay after treatment. I also really appreciate that this office has gone digital - all of the forms can be completed online before your appointment and the staff regularly communicate via email. Finally, the great location just outside of the LRT means that I can hop a train home and avoid all of the downtown traffic. While I wouldn't hope for another root canal, if I had to have another, I'd certainly go back to Dr. Lahl!
