My father was on a different flight from ours so we had no idea of what was going on until we got to the Funeral home the next day and learned his flight had been canceled in Atlanta. I then learned the Hatmaker Funeral Home had driven all the way to Atlanta and picked up my Daddy and got him there for his service on time. The rude man at the desk actually threw two packs of it at me as hard as he could and yelled "here you go, sunny!" Then, he laughed like a devil. One of the packs actually came open and made a huge mess all over my Michigan State sweater. I felt as if I had been attacked by this man. When I called the owner after the burial to report this bad behavior, rather than receiving an apology or explanation, I was curtly told that no employee there would do such a thing and that what he thew at me was likely just a box of Sunny Delight. I hope this is true. I love that sweater. But I will not wear it again if it has graveyard Fabreze on it. I love this place!

It's really hard to find any kind of place these days these days that has decent service to the public but the office staff (I think they were called counselors?) went above and beyond for us. The grounds are beautiful and you can tell that the outside workers take pride in what they do. The office staff were helpful, and not pushy at all. They listened to us and were mostly concerned with helping us get what we wanted and not on what someone else might think we should have. The prices for the plots were a lot better than the other two places we talked to and we had a lot of nice areas to choose from. Only thing I don't like is that they lock the gate when it gets dark at night so I can't come visit after work. Most people wouldn't care but I work an odd schedule. Wish they would leave it open all the time. Thank you to the staff for guiding our family through what was a very hard time.

I've been lied to by two different employees who both told me that they have ordered the death date marker for my mom's grave marker. She was buried mid July and today I'm told it was never ordered. I spoke with them last week and was told they had it and would have it added to her marker! If you must use this place for burial of your loved one, be prepared for lies and disappointment from the staff.
