Holle's Schlossgarten is a nice place to come for a beer in the summer. It is a typical German beer garden situated in the center of Hanau's old town. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only problem is the food. We ordered Haxen on their Haxen tag. I must say it was the worst I have tried in Germany thus far. We ordered 3 plates and each had clearly sat for many hours. The skin was soggy and not crisp at all. It was not good at all. The Knödel was equally bad. Tasteless, gritty and poor quality. It was quite disappointing. If you want to come for a nice cold beer, come here. Might want to skip the food though. read more

Also ich war im Winter schon öfter drinnen im Restaurant mit Freunden oder dem Familienbesuch. Das Ambiente im Inneren finde ich wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Genau so wie ich es in einem solchen Lokal erwarte. Top! Im Biergarten war ich aktuell am 1.Mai bei der großen Garteneröffnung. Obwohl es zwischendurch immer wieder geregnet hat und das Personal durch den Regen laufen musste um zu uns Gästen zu kommen, waren alle Bedienungen super freundlich und gut gelaunt. Man merkt Ihnen an das sie dort anscheinend gerne und mit Spaß arbeiten :) Und auch als es dann voll wurde war der Service immer noch tip top. Echt super! Daumen hoch! Ich freu mich schon auf den Sommer wenn man sich wieder öfter dort sieht und hoffentlich auch die WM dort übertragen wird. read more
