I've been several times and each time has been a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is casual; in warmer months, they have picnic tables street-side that you can sit at; and, given that Germans are terrible at customer service, here you will find that staff offer great customer service. They do not offer an English menu so either bring some excellent language skills or be prepared to linguistically negotiate with your wait staff. In all cases, our waitress was mostly able to speak some English and had thoughtful recommendations. Most recently, I had some kind of baked potato with cheesy-goodness on top and mixed vegetables on the side. Prices are reasonable and they also have a decent selection of wines and beer. All in all, a nice sit-down restaurant that you're likely to have a pleasant experience with. Especially as Stadtgeflüster is certainly way ahead of many of the local run-down and dumpy restaurants.

I had the Tiroler Pfandl, which was pork with a creamy sauce over some sort of fried cheese noodles, which was quite tasty, hearty, and of course heavy. also serves Alzenauer Steinbräu, or the local Alzenau beer. overall, great place, would love to come again.
