They have an excellent selection of healthy and not-so-healthy foods and drinks, including a good stock of fairly traded items (such as Traidcraft cereal, loo roll, etc.). The staff are always friendly and very helpful - although I've never had to ask anything they have an extensive stock of herbal remedies and seem to cater for any ailment you might have. The staff are very knowledgeable and can advise on what might be the best remedy. The prices are reasonable; it's a real treasure trove of healthy goodies.

They've their little sandwich board out the front detailing the latest offers and research on vitamins and extracts so you are always in the know. For those beef cake types they have all the necessary (and I use that word loosely...) products that help you to buff up to your heart's delight sans the 'roids. Homeopathic remedies are also on sale here, as are herbal teas, natural honeys, nuts and all the usual goodness! The door may be a little off-putting as it's hard to see in, but don' be put off as it's pretty friendly inside!

Another positive aspect of the 'serve yourself' is that you can pick the types of sweets you like for example if they are in a mixed tub.

It's nice and clean, the staff are pleasant and friendly, and the Quorn is fantastic! Speaking (or typing) as a vegetarian, I am really pleased that Quorn is produced in my region. I love the Quorn pies, and enjoy a number of other items they produce, too. The great thing about Quorn is that even meat eaters enjoy it! My husband is a meat eater but he actually prefers the Quorn bacon to the other kind (you know, the dead pig kind).

It's always been a favourite of mine.They offer a wide range of health supplements and whole foods and alternative remedies.Although the prices are sometimes a bit higher than some of thier competitors(Holland and Barrett ect) the goods on offer are of high quality. The one thing they can offer that Holland and Barrett don't is a cafe and vegetarian snack food.If you want main meals don't go too late though as the food is good and has it's regulars.It's very well priced too,so why not give it a try.
