I just got off the phone with the receptionist, and unfortunately, it was an incredibly…read moredisappointing experience. She was extremely rude and repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to explain the reason for my call. I mentioned that I had been a previous patient of an APRN who worked there years ago. Before I could continue, she abruptly cut me off to say, "We don't do prescriptions here." I replied that I wasn't calling about prescriptions, but she still insisted, in a dismissive tone, "Well, I'm just letting you know because the APRN was able to do that." I repeated that prescriptions were not why I was calling. I explained that I was looking for a PCP with a holistic approach and wanted to know whether my insurance would be compatible, attempted to explain about my insurance. Again, she cut me off, saying, "We're not a PCP and don't sign off on anything for insurance." Once more, this was not what I was asking. I finally had to say, "If you let me explain, I'd appreciate it." But at that point, I told her that if this was the experience I was receiving over the phone, I would take my family and myself elsewhere. This was honestly shocking. I'm sure many of the other employees are wonderful, and I was looking forward to the possibility of becoming a patient again. However, this interaction alone completely changed my mind. Because of her behavior, I will absolutely be looking elsewhere for care.

I have suffered from many digestive issues over the years, and I could always count on her natural healing methods rather than the pharmaceuticals trying to be pushed on me by physicians. She is also an outstanding chiropractor who has "straightened me out" on many occasions, alleviating chronic pain in my spine, hips and neck, usually with a single adjustment. I have literally limped, hunched over in pain into her office on many occasions, and walked out an hour later totally in line and erect. I was so ill, so depressed and so done seeing doctors, when I walked into her office it was my last resort, I'd done everything else one is supposed to do and a friend recommended Dr. H since nothing else had worked. She was so warm, open and obviously cared deeply about helping me...such a difference from the dozens of doctors I'd seen who couldn't figure out what was going on and didn't seem to care to figure it out. Dr. Hilty quickly helped me make giant leaps from massive depression, extreme fatigue, overweight, no energy into a (relatively) normal, functioning, happy and healthy member of society. Her work is deep, thorough and completely focused on working with whatever her patient needs to achieve optimal health. Whether I felt a little out of sorts, or recovering from something gross, Dr. Hilty always welcomed the opportunity to help me. She's not only a wonderful Dr., she's a wonderful person.
