I had the chicken, potato wedges and a side of fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were a standard frozen fried product and were fine, but the serving was a little small. Chicken was tasty and moist. I didn't think it was anything really groundbreaking, however, and the pieces were a bit on the small side. WOW! ... who would have thought gas station fried chicken could rival some of the best restaurant meals? Perfectly brined, incredibly juicy, and fried to a crispy, golden perfection. Every bite delivered. We made a whole afternoon out of it, paired the meal with some beers from a local brewery called Spiral Brewery. Tried to swing by a few vintage shops in town too, but small town hours are real! They were all closed by 5pm. Oh well, just another reason to come back.

On a tight corner in busy downtown Prescott, Wi, watch out for those speeding trucks heading for the bridge, is this typical Holiday station mart. Not really negative, nothing outstandingly great either, just a convenient place for fill, bladder empty, and more soda or coffee.
