From…read morelive bait to a surprisingly well-stocked deli, this place has a little bit of everything - I came for the broasted chicken. WOW! ... who would have thought gas station fried chicken could rival some of the best restaurant meals? Perfectly brined, incredibly juicy, and fried to a crispy, golden perfection. Every bite delivered. We made a whole afternoon out of it, paired the meal with some beers from a local brewery called Spiral Brewery. Tried to swing by a few vintage shops in town too, but small town hours are real! They were all closed by 5pm. Oh well, just another reason to come back.

I had the chicken, potato wedges and a side of fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were a standard frozen fried product and were fine, but the serving was a little small. Chicken was tasty and moist. I didn't think it was anything really groundbreaking, however, and the pieces were a bit on the small side. The trip was still worth it - hit up a local brewery and some cute shops and had a nice time!

Just curious why this is considered a convince store and there is nothing in convenient fashion available? the line of work that I am in if something is going to take 15 minutes longer to cook, you really just give them an answer and make it right? x Not much to review these days I guess. Every time I am there, especially at this particular location, (Hastings, MN) during said breakfast hours there aren't any breakfast items available. Usually 2-4 people, are waiting for two or more employees to at the very least find out when or how long the advertised Breakfast will return to the shelves. This happens at all random hours, even when someone in my household gets to Kwik Trip. yesterday the deals advertised weren't available and my kid couldn't get anyone to at least please wait. Recently Holiday opened up a new location in Cottage Grove and we have been coming here ever since. Now lets not get too crazy you might say as its just a gas station. Well, it may be a gas station, but not just a gas station. They have a nice car wash. Inside their car wash they actually have an employee that helps spray your car down when you go through the wash. Inside is your typical convenient store with some groceries, hot and cold drinks as well as hot and cold food. The one item that separates this Holiday from other locations in the area, is that they sell bait! Yes fisherman they have bait here! For those of us that used to stop at that place on 61 that closed a few years back, now we have a local place where we can get gas, snacks, drinks and bait! I can't tell you how nice this is as there are just not a lot of places besides the front or back yard, where an angler can get some bait. This is a nice bright and clean store and we will certainly be stopping here some more and every time before we go fishing!
