Disclaimer: I am a lifelong baguette hound, travel to Italy and France frequently enough, and consider myself a baguette connoisseur if you will. So it took two long bags, one on each end, to wrap this baguette which smelled like a dream, and I will admit that I was a bit taken back when the cashier asked for $10, which is the most I have ever paid for baguette in all of my life, but knowing that these sell out every day, I was not gonna walk away at that point! All I can tell you is this is by far the best baguette I have ever had in America or Europe: wonderful sourdough, perfectly texture crust covered with lightly toasted sesame seeds, and a moist soft chewy interior that is pure bliss.
