The girls at the counter told me that they had just finished their session but told I could come back and they would let us take pictures again with the whole family. It is so neat to see how the studio grows every year and the efforts they make to make this experience so special. This is the first time I've had a less than ideal experience with this studio. I've been bringing my children to this studio on and off for the past 10 years. During our most recent visit, we came with a hesitant 21mo who is weary of strangers and when one of the staff went up to adjust her dress she lost it and started crying. From that point on she cried the entire session! I wish the team would have asked me to adjust her dress or asked if it was okay to approach/touch her. They had already approached her before I could warn them. It would be nice if the team checked in with parents about preferences especially if the child has special needs. In addition, there was a noticeable issue with the camera during our session and several of our photos were dark and not usable. We were able to make use of some of the photos but overall, it was a stressful experience that we may unfortunately skip out on next year. read more

A Christmas Miracle If I had to summarize the title of this story it would be called a Christmas Miracle. We went to the Holiday Magic Studios - River Park to take family pics like the one we did last year where you go inside Santa's workshop for a private photo session in a super decorative studio and they add Santa to it digitally. This time we were super prepared. I got the kids matching PJs, made reservations in advanced and we got there on time. There wasn't a long line and we ended up getting to go in earlier than our appointment. When we start approaching the enchanted entryway right after we got our temperatures checked to go inside the grand doors they greet us and they say "oh we have a surprise" and we ask "oh- what's the surprise ?" And they present the actual real life Santa Claus! We're all disappointed because we didn't know how this was gonna work. See every since they were toddlers Ben & Cam have a fear of Santa and Ava would look all cutesy alone. We practiced prior the reenactment leading up to today and wanted to make the process super easy this time for us. I tried to explain without being rude, but my Mama Bear comes out and I say no offense to you but it's kind of a big deal that we do what we did last year. Cam has Autism and is nonverbal and he will not take pictures with you. He barely takes pictures with us. And then they said "let's just try first and if it doesn't go well, then Santa can step out". At this point me and husband are feeling a little uncomfortable but then something magical happened a true Christmas miracle. We end up just going with the flow and we all were shocked. I literally was a puddle of mush. I was crying with pure joy! And I was just so happy that Cam was doing so good. The entire time we were there he stole the show! He was so cute with Santa. He was making eye contact with him staring into his soul! Santa was making the kids laugh. He was a really good looking Santa! He was so gentle and soft spoken. All the kids looked so beautiful. The entire process was just so flawless. I wish it was videotaped. After we were done I embraced Santa with tears in my eyes and thanked him! He whispered to me, I really love children with autism and your son is really special and I felt it! All I want is to make this super special for you all. And I said thank you soooooo much! I then hugged the photographer and the assistant because they were just so awesome. I have always wanted a good picture of my three with Santa. I could have not asked for the most perfect, most amazing experience ever in the entire world. They took a ton of pictures, well 94 to be exact. I want our story to be known EVERYWHERE! I hope it spreads like wildfire! I want our local news to know about it. I want every single family who has an Autistic child to go experience what we did! I want all social media outlets to know about it. All of my followers, all the pages I'm involved with. I pray that every family that has a child with special needs, realize that there is hope and there are miracles. And there are good people out there that really care and that took the time, we were there for over 20 minutes. Now that we have all these pictures to embrace on and just like this memory I know I might feel differently about it over the next couple of days but I have to share my excitement with the people I care about most. I know that you would totally understand and be equally excited for us! And you would know how much this means to us. So yeah, that's my long Christmas Miracle story! You then are sent a link almost immediately after your session to choose your photos. It's as easy as a click away and they mail your photos to your desired address. The staff are so friendly and made both my kids feel so comfortable. I thought my kids would cry but we had no tears at all even when they were infants. The entire studio is super clean and mess free. Santa is always on point with the costume and the background of the photos is breathtaking. Our go-to Santa for several years now and we love him. He's a really patient guy and does great with the animals. The staff do a great job at getting our dogs' attention and they snap A LOT of photos to make sure you get the right one. We opt for the online prints so that we can print what we want and how we want. They gave us 42 photos to choose from for $35. That's pretty reasonable considering the setup, cleanliness, professionalism, and speed of the photos being uploaded. By the time we got to the car, the photos were already there! Staff is genuinely kind and we always make it a point to go here. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I was very skeptical of this place because you have to prepay in order to make a reservation. They require a 72 hour cancellation. If you miss that then you miss your appointment. Well we ended up in the ER with my daughter the day before our appointment and wasn't sure if we would get out in time for it. I called like it says to do to reschedule or cancel and it was an automated recording and a number from Tipton. I called four times. I never got a call back or an email. To me, if you are going to charge people upfront, at least have someone to answer the phone or call back. Luckily we were able to make our appointment. When we got there... they were running behind. I found it ironic that the main selling point is to not have to wait in line... and we had to wait almost 15 mins! I get it tho, things happen. Just a little funny. They did a great job with the pictures though. This is where they redeemed themselves. We got 34 wonderful pictures. The baby bunny was adorable and my daughter had a good time. We will more then likely be back next Easter. And we might try for Christmas too. read more

My family and I had such an amazing experience meeting Santa! The photographers were welcoming, friendly, and energetic. My kids loved it!

As much ad the pictures turned out rather nice-our experience with the actual company was sub par. A little back ground. We background... we have been going to holiday magic studios for 11 years now with our daughter. I loved that they always had the same santa (which they changed on us last year without warning) we took it in stride, though we were highly disappointed... after ten years on always having the same man in your pictures you expect to have the same santa.... but with no warning you can imagine the disappointment. But we shook it off because we loved the place and the pictures always looked nice. The santa was okay he took time to speak to our son and daughter (who at the time were 3 and 10) ... Fast forward to this year.... we waited until the 28th to see santa... the kids were going to say "thank you for all their gifts " my 4 year old has been so in love with santa that he goes speechless when he's around him... so as we stand inline the "elf who calls us in doesn't engage the family. "Receipt" was all i was asked... yet my kids names and ages are up on the tv screen .. now I'm a preschool teacher.... i know how to say hi to children... if you don't know how to say hi to kids then rehire some who does my 4 year old wad excited all day to see santa ... he kept asking "am I a good boy mommy?" i would have to reassure him. Now in we go.... santa doesn't ho ho ho..... doesn't smile... he knows my kids names .... do you think he welcomes them..... nope not really.... he does seee my sons acting apprehensive so we asks for big sister to come take pictures first ... only good thing they do... but even then .... he barked orders "stand here,, no behind here move in .... not even "how was your Christmas... are you a good big sister? Nothing......... my daughter asked me if she made him angry....... i said no.... pretty bad when an 11 year asks that...... Now my sons turn he shyly walks over... now this a boy who is IN LOVE WITH SANTA and is just in awe..... and he gets up there and goes stiff like stage fright.. the elves with the camera start barking at him to look at the camera and Santa jostles him to try and loose. Him up... ask him a question????? Ask him if hes been good? Let him say thank you??? Say his name???? Look in his eyes? Santa didn't even talk to my son.... disappointment to the fullest... Ive contacted the company and they offered us a do over next year.... but honestly.... Spur of the moment meeting Santa Clause last night. This was first ever visit with holiday magic studios. They have 3 options for purchase, I always get digital prints works better for me to keep saved. The prices were great for the service and visit with Santa. Our group of kids totaled 6 and it was full of magic the whole time. They opened the doors and Santa was sitting waiting and greeting the kids! The kids so excited greeting Santa. The stand alone trailer was exquisite outside to inside with great details of Santa workshop. They offered props while taking photos with Santa such as a Santa hat for the kids to wear! To finish off the amazing 5 minute visit with Santa they gave all the kids cookies!! Great way to finish off a Santa visit. We had an appoint for pictures, first in the evening line up. We arrived early & they told us to come back, everyone was eating dinner. Then, they took two more people ahead of us! The two ladies at the register were very rude. Our babies were out late, & sick & made to wait! Absolutely uncalled for attitude, just like taking two ahead of us, when we were first in line!!! I usually used Fashion Fair for Santa pictures but the new company just wasn't as good with pictures and experience. I seen a Facebook ad for Holiday Magic Studios offering "Santa" pictures with no actual Santa (thanks to Covid). I was hesitant because the cost was higher and seemed to be less printed pictures than I got with the other place. I waited for F.F. but they weren't opening so I decided this would be the only way to get pictures and since we had a new baby I definitely didn't want to skip this year. I went to their website to check them out and I must say I'm so happy we chose them! From the start everything was so easy and they had plenty of available appointments. I didn't think the time would be long enough but they are fantastic about the time and we never felt rushed. They were very nice, very clean & took time to get good pictures with 4 kids (no easy feat). The kids loved the magical Santa experience. After every picture they would watch the monitor to see Santa pop up in the pictures. The pictures were great and you get all that are taken with digital pictures. You get to pick what you want printed and they offer lots of cool add ons with your pictures on them. I know our family has found a new place to make memories and look forward to many more Christmases and maybe Easters with this wonderful studio. The pictures are either blurry (out of focus, not even a motion blur which also would be bad), too close up, or crooked. Some of the pictures my kid is even cut off. Seriously, why don't they just put the camera on a tripod and either just keep the picture a wide photo or use a zoom lens. Instead they hand the camera to an amateur photographer (probably not even a photographer at all). I bought the largest package and unfortunately in order to pick a good photo I would need to straighten one of them, but I can't. There are a lot of places to take pictures with Santa, I recommend going somewhere else. read more

The whole process is so easy just make an appointment arrive 5 minutes early and you will be in the time of your appointment ours was at 6:30 and we went in at 6:30 they take plenty of pictures so you have a variety to choose from if you're getting prints we usually just do the digital download package we got our pictures within a matter of minutes.! We got a total of 14 pictures so it's definitely worth it.! Santa is so sweet calls the kids by name so that's why it's important to list the children's names when making the appointment. My daughter was surprised when he called our son by his name since he was a little shy to get close to him. This was the third year for my daughter and second for my son.!
