My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights when we visited Santiago, Chile. In sum, we had a so-so experience. Pros * Convenience - literally across the airport * You sleep well. You do not hear any plane noise * Good wifi reception * Decent food at restaurant * Provided extra towels and firm pillows upon request Cons * Understaffed reception area. They never answer phone calls from room. One has to go in person to get service * Shower doors do not close properly. Hence, water flooded floor. Requested assistance but no one came. * Iron in room did not work * Day tours or Uber are unable to pick you up from hotel due to proximity to airport. One has to take airport taxi (right across hotel) to go to Santiago. Tip: The terminal for international flights is behind the hotel. The terminal in front is for national flights. read more

Incredibly rude and unhelpful managers: Barbara and Pamela. We were not allowed to store the bags of our family in the rooms we paid for. Some members were unable to check their bags because of the time so some stayed behind to wait for the next flight and booked a room at the hotel, we were then not allowed to bring our family bags into our room because everyone's name didn't match with the registered guest. We had to move them and pay to store them in the international terminal. It cost us $500 to store the bags at the airport. Cellular data does not work inside the building and you must give your email to get onto the hotel wifi. There is only 1 restaurant which is only open during certain hours so we had to eat at the airport when we were very hungry at 4PM and the restaurant wasn't open until 5. They do not have any porters to help you with you luggage. They don't provide conditioner and the shampoo is cheap and awful. The TV has several apps but they don't provide any login. The channels don't work either because the signal in the building is weak so it very glitchy and pauses frequently; and the room is expensive for what it is- over $150/night to look at the airport parking lot, no water for the coffee machine, no refrigerator, no proper bathroom supplies, and be treated rudely. If it weren't convenient ad I short on time, I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. If you have the time, please take it from me, a world traveler, go somewhere else. read more

Outstanding! Best Holiday Inn I've ever stayed with. Great beds, quiet, great staff, great food and drink. Great location for airport travelers. There isn't a single thing I would change. This would be my go to every time I'm in Santiago. I know there are places with more interesting nearby amenities but I could get there from the taxi stand at the airport and never have to worry about finding my way back to the hotel. Seriously everything we experienced was just perfect. Hope to return and enjoy the rest that the hotel has to offer! read more

This is an decent hotel just across the street from SCL airport. The rooms are clean, cozy and in good condition. Good security with full time people at the front and security gate protecting guests on the inside. I don't know if this is all needed but it sure makes one feel better. Wifi is fast compared to anything else I experienced in Chile and comes free with the room. On the 1st floor there is a restaurant and bar. The restaurant has an ok, not great, breakfast buffet which I feel they overcharge for. You can just walk across the street and try your luck at the airport or Uber somewhere. I being laze just at at the hotel and enjoyed it enough. I never did try the bar and maybe there's a gym too. read more

Such a convenient location, located right across the airport. good place to stay while during transits. Just have to cross the street to reach there and even can take the carts until that point. Fast and easy check-in, servers are very helpful and can with good English speaking skills. Modern decor inside. Spacious room, huge and we requested a room at the back side, so wasn't noisy and we got a good night sleep.There is a nice restaurant and bar area in the lobby. We had dinner in the restaurant it was pretty good. Plenty of options - local food, pizza, pasta, drinks. read more

This hotel is convenient for travelers. I can't say anything else good about it. The decor is dated, it's dark, and it's not particularly clean. If I needed an overnight and airport proximity were an important consideration, I'd probably stay here. If being able to walk from the airport to the hotel were not of great importance, I'd find another hotel. read more

Very convenient to the airport, really just across the street with a modern look to it. Staff was friendly and professional when a large group of passengers all showed up at once. They were quick to attend to everyone in a timely manner. The lounge area is modern and comfortable. The dining area and bar is also convenient. Food there was surprisingly decent. The pumpkin soup had a decent flavor, but was obviously reheated with a thin skin formed on the top. The croutons were typical manufactured, from a box but nonetheless tasty. The roasted chicken came with a generous helping of mushroom risotto and was delicious. Unexpectedly pleasant for a late night dinner at an airport hotel. They also have a decent selection of beers and teas. For the room, it was updated and modern with a frosted gliding door for the bathroom (which seems cool until you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and it lights up the bedroom). The toilet and shower were separated by frosted glass doors as well which gave it a modern chic look. It was a nice design but more for aesthetics then practicality. The shower had a modern drain, flat floor with a gutter in the far edge with a drain. In theory, it was a nice design, kept the floor flat and continuous, no need to have to step on a drain while showering. It also had a great waterfall shower and let plenty of water down at once. Unfortunately, the shower drain in my room was clogged and the shower began to overfill. There's no edge or lip to contain the water and even with the shower door closed, the water managed to seep out and flood the bathroom and eventually pour out into the room. Again, not a well thought out design. Nevertheless, the beds were very comfortable with soft sheets, fluffy pillows and fluffy towels that you expect from the high quality hotel. Wifi was also surprisingly fast which was a definitely plus after being on Easter Island with very poor connection. I would give this place a 4 star, if not for the flooding bathroom, which I'm sure was a rare occurrence. read more

We had a very pleasant 5 hours here on Sunday, waiting for our flight for the airport across the street. The airport was crowded with no place to sit. We had a few bags because we were so early the airline would not take them and the temporary luggage storage area was full and they would not take the bags. We actually had 8 hours before our flight. Several couples that we knew were spending the night at this location. So we went and asked if we could hang out for a few hours in the lobby, have drinks and dinner and the management said yes. this is a very beautiful hotel, I wish we had booked it for the night and then flight out rested the next day. Our friends said that they do that on every trip, rather than take a very late flight. I want to thank the manager and the hotel clerk that helped us out. I'll never forget the kindness. He was very attentive and asked us several times if there was anything he could do. I will not list their names here, but I am writing Holiday Inn and tell them the names of their employees who were so helpful. There is no hotel that could be more convenient for this airport than this one, literally across the street and the food and drinks and service were very good and reasonable. read more

I had paid for my food, but the front desk said I still owed for my food. The restaurant rang me up after I decided to pay for everything rather than to have it charged to my room but still kept the charge my room receipt, so when I went to check out they said I still owed money and didn't believe me. The managers wouldn't talk to me. read more

One of the worst hotels in Santiago de Chile. Their selling power is that they are 1 minute walk across the arrival terminal. Thats it - the good things end here. The customer service is extremely poor, the front desk is very rude, the managers support their rude staff rather than help the client, the wifi perpetually never works and half the time there is no hote water. yet they charge 200 usd/night cos of their location. I suggest to invest 20 usd in a taxi and go to a better/cheaper hotel a little farther away/ and or use free hotel shuttles. read more
