Nooooo, but you want my I.D., ask for my bank card...for Whattttttt....Only for incidentals should be. Like Bruh............. money hard to come by these days. So you charge me directly for a two nights THAT I already paid for. AND, she was rushing for my card too....are you blind/Deaf...ONLY IF YOU heard me the first time. So I argued for my refund. I didn't want to stay at this place no more for that reason. Not to mention I come at least 3-4 times a year. Never had any problems in the past like this. Either she's New and never was trained when people Say they have a Paid reservation, what to look for, or that I was brand new and didn't know how to check my bank after she just charged me now Additional. That shi* pissed me off to where I never want to stay there again. Bank funds don't go back until 3-4 days type of deal. Bottom line is, you have to do better with your services to keep your customers coming back, because they are the ones paying your bill. No apologies either, just saying she didn't see it. I have been staying here for over a week while my friend is in a nearby hospital. This is not a vacation, and under very difficult circumstances, being able to stay somewhere that feels safe, comfortable, and welcoming has meant more to me than I can put into words. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff has been incredibly kind, compassionate, understanding, and accommodating. They know what I'm going through and have gone out of their way every single day to help me, make me comfortable, and make me feel at home. They have even provided me with complimentary meal vouchers, helped with my laundry, and consistently take the time to ask about my friend's health. Those may seem like small gestures, but during a stressful and uncertain time, they have meant absolutely everything to me. Because my friend does not yet have a definite discharge date, I have had to extend my stay several times. If the room is ready I have always been able to check in. 2nd I worked from 11 to 11 and couldn't wait to pass out in my bed! Well I did pass out and woke up unable to move. The bed was a brick. 3rd the refrigerator in the room kept turning off. Come to find out it has a button - off for 8 hours or on for 2 hours. What??!! What if I want to use the fridge as a fridge? Push the button every two hours. Not possible. That was the solution provided by hotel staff. But the premium rooms we were told have a regular fridge with no button. So they swapped it out. Guess what? Yes you guessed it - the buttons are there. Those "premium" rooms have the same fridge that is not a fridge. More of a drink cooler. Everett was nice enough to bring the "cooler" fridge and proceeded to say that we had huge trays in the fridge. They were two standard to go boxes. So no, not huge. But since we lost about $30 worth of food, he invited us to eat dinner and breakfast on the house. I give him points for that but not the jabs. That was not professional at all. It was like he was trying to tell us it was our fault the not-fridge wasn't working. Even in shit box hotels the fridge is a fridge. I thought Courtyard was, as they say, premium. This experience, although Everett tried to make it right, left me disappointed. Say no to Kingwood Marriott - there are plenty of others to choose from.

The Duck Farm is also available for gathering, receptions, birthdays, spiritual retreats, etc. We celebrated my mother's 88th Birthday in the main house and then decided to stay in the Bed and Breakfast. This was one of the best decisions of our entire trip. Next time we're in the Raywood/Liberty area will certainly be staying at the Duck Farm.
