You will also find the loading area for the water taxi (dock 4)and Harbor Cruises (dock 3), and Dockside Boat and Bed (dock 5). The walking path is a wide area shared with walkers, bikes, scooters, dogs and their owners on a walk. And yes, some homeless too. There are many restaurants and you pass the aquarium. The walking area is well maintained and makes for a very peaceful morning walk. Today we took a morning walk to the lighthouse. The lighthouse in itself is not much to see, but the walk to and from is worth it! At the lighthouse you get a 360 view of the area. Sadly, there was a lot of trash, I assume from people who were there the night before. City workers were busy cleaning up the walking path and they will probably make their way to clean up the trash at the lighthouse. We parked in the lot by PF Changs-it's about $26. There is a public parking lot across the bay from PF Changs that's less expensive. We lived this new to us experience!

Just be mindful of pedestrians. I do hope you enjoy this wonderful place at your leisure. :)

There is a security access to get into the parking lot as well as a coded key to get to my boat. The restrooms are awesome. They are clean and well stocked. I can get to my boat anytime and any day of the week without problems. All of the people I have met on my dock are friendly and courteous. The staff that cleans the docks are friendly too. There are monthly wine and cheese tastings and they are open to anyone that I chose to bring with me. I highly recommend this marina to anyone who wants a safe place for their boat as I have found for mine.

Facilities are decent, the staff is caring, and the rates are affordable. If you are looking for a posh place to keep your boat, or a better location, you'll go elsewhere and that is fine. But Yacht Haven is an honest, friendly, family run place that I can always count on to be there. Sure, there are nicer places. There are cheaper places. There are places in better locations. Shoreline Village has so many restaurants to enjoy, nearby mall, Farris wheel, a wonderful aquarium, and so much more. Restrooms are clean, and trash bins could be emptied more often since this marina is run by the city. Maybe less homeless would pick through it. We won't be returning due to the garbage in the SEA, which can get caught in a boat prop; then who's responsible? We were very disappointed there isn't a service boat that cleans it up for boat residents and tourists, an embarrassment for the city of Long Beach, I'd say.

I needed to change my dripless while the boat was going to be out for bottom paint. I was told that I had two options. 1.
