So only your money matters if you're a brother. I'm always polite and very respectful to anyone especially my elders. I've never gotten a good morning, welcome in, and Never gotten a "you are welcome". They literally just stare at me. The three stars are specifically for the range and price. Outside of that, the older gentlemen do not necessarily care to share their space with a brother. I've been around a long time to know where my kind isn't welcome. or maybe it's just me Not being welcome. Either way. I'm sorry they each feel the need to be that way. I've definitely bragged about this range for the longest. I've been here for years. Either way my time here in the valley is coming to an end. If you're a brother, form your own opinion. On my first visit the customer service was excellent and energetic, they answered my questions and I had picked out a bow that I was very interested in. We discussed the price and the fact that it was discounted because it was a couple of years old, old inventory essentially. My second visit I was intending on shooting the bow and purchasing it, if after shooting it, it felt comfortable. The staff this visit were not as helpful and the store was a little busier. Excited about the bow I waited for 30 minutes, I told this was the wait time. It became abundantly clear to me after waiting though, I was going to be waiting much longer. I spoke with the gentleman about the wait and he convinced me to come back in the morning so I did. I arrived at point blank about 10 am with a friend who was interested in a back up bow as well. I shot my bow and with the help of the bow technician, I was shooting it comfortably. My friend proceeded to shoot a bow as well and was legitimately interested as the same discount should have been applied to the bow he was eyeballing. We gathered our bows and made it to the register where the prices we were met with were higher than expected. Even the clerk apologized and said the can't honor the quoted prices but acknowledged they were instructed to sell them at said prices. Needless to say I feel like the staff pulled the old bait and switch on us. We did not buy the bows and will look elsewhere for a good deal.

They have around 3-4 skeet fields and two trap fields. Skeet fields have a "high house" and a "low house" for clays. Near the back they have an advanced set up for the guys that shoot competition or whatever. Plus, they plan to expand in the near future. Rules are posted on the field for you to see. Cons: The price is a little steep if you're on a budget. Membership is $150 a year and you have to be a member of the NRA to join. If you''re 29 yrs old or younger, it's only $25 a year. The club is open to the public only two days a week, and you have to take a short safety course to even be able to shoot there regardless if you're a member or not($25). You can't use the pistol range if you aren't a member. The manager, let's just say she can be a bit strict at times.

The other bays a approximately 20-25 feet apart, so you dont have to worry about someone shooting a 7" AR with a brake on it right next to you.

I've been shooting since I was six and my girl had never handled a gun before she met me. This was her third trip to a range, all-time. Her first time was here, renting nice lil' 9millies. Her next gun experience was shooting a M-60 at a range in Vietnam (while on vacation). The selection of guns to rent to shoot looks like the basement bunker from Terminator 2. My girl and I rented a Barrett .50 rifle, a S&W .500 Magnum, and a no-shit full auto Tommy Gun. We asked for the most ridiculous guns they had, and they delivered. The Barrett was on my bucket-list, and worth every penny. The Tommy gun was more fun than bumper cars. The .500 Magnum can go kick rocks. What a stupid gun. Only 30 minutes from South Padre Island. Totally going again next time we're down there.
