I was repeatedly told to reapply because there were no spring classes available for me, only to later be pushed into registering for summer courses. At no point did I feel like I had a clear plan or guidance on what steps to take next. Reaching out didn't help either. Emails to multiple staff members went unanswered, and calling the college was just as unproductive. Getting someone on the phone felt nearly impossible. For students navigating enrollment timelines, financial aid, and course planning, communication is critical--and in my experience, this is an area where the college seriously needs improvement.

The MLT program is overbooked by dozens of students and there is a long wait list for clinical rotations. (Some students who were supposed to start clinicals in January will not be able to start until SEPTEMBER) No mention of this whatsoever was made until about two months before we were supposed to begin clinical rotations. I have had many issues with the business office over the past three years and have had to wait an extra 8 months for thousands of dollars in grant reimbursement due to lost paperwork. I had reached out to nearly every QC contact to no avail- had to find the Director of SCILS grants in MA to fix my issues. I've spent hundreds on extra loan interest due to the colleges mistake. I can not finish this program without that clinical, and I will not graduate on time. This is delaying taking my boards with ASCP and may possibly cause issues with my wedding planned for this fall. If I had foreseen any issues like this and been kept better informed, I would not be facing issues like this. I've worked my tail off to earn a 3.9 GPA- while working 2 jobs through the whole program. After nearly 3 years working toward this degree it's pushed off further. Please keep in mind this is NOT the fault of any of the current management and program directors who are doing everything they can to fix the issue- there is an entirely new staff since when I started the program. They are working hard to prevent this situation in the future from what I have heard.

We didn't have the money so I bought the Seeing Stars tutoring kit ($600) and hired local tutors an hour a week($50/hr). My daughter made some progress. My daughter was not very cooperative. When she was in 6th grade she was reading at a 4th grade level. We spent $ 8k for 4 weeks of tutoring, 3 hours a day. Our daughter jumped from a 4th grade to a 6th grade reading level. The tutors were able to cajole her into doing her work. This year she was able to score Advanced on the Biology MCAS and a 4 on APWorldHistory. That would not have been possible without Lindamood-Bell.
