The first item I look for is flavor. The Daily Shave Ice has a variety of flavors, including sugar free. They have the classic flavors (tigers blood) to the tropical flavors (mango) that I always order on my shave ice. Bonus points if they offer additional items to add to it, like ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk on top. The Daily Shave offers both and I absolutely recommend it. Together, it totally elevates the shave ice. The second item is the quality of ice. This ice was very smooth and snow like. The softer the ice, the better it is. What I wasn't expecting was the size. They really pack on the ice! I ordered a small and it was massive. It was a fun surprise when I picked it up at the window. Overall, this place knows how to make a shave ice. The ice is soft, the flavors are awesome and the size is huge. A great treat on a summer day.
