It was by chance that I got to eat here and it really cured my homesickness. They had legit dishes that are cooked like my mom's food. People here are also very kind. Just like aunties lovingly cooking you their best dishes. Loved it! Best food I've had in France so far. Because it just hits the spot!

Wow, what an experience! My family of 3 had dinner here last night…read more I've heard mixed reviews about the setting, but we loved it. I can see why some may think it's too spartan/sterile...it certainly is different! It made me feel like I was inside a cocoon or some type of futuristic, underground survival shelter you see depicted in Scifi movies. The service was impeccable from start to finish. I can't tell you what all the various food dishes were we ate but everything was like eating pieces of art. Highlights included the French Lobster with miso and the abalone/mushroom dish. To be honest, solely based on taste, I would have given the review a 4, but when I evaluate the entire experience, it was truly amazing and deserving of the 5! It was awesome to see Chef Thierry at the end of the dinner, and he was gracious enough to take a picture with our family. Thank you Chef and your entire staff for an unforgettable dining experience!

Review #23 of 2024!!…read more I visited champs elysee on an afternoon during dusk to enjoy the light show. There are lots of high end shopping here along with many restaurant options. The sidewalks are really big and ample but what I noticed was there were a handful of people begging for money in this area. They did not take a lot of space on the sidewalk but some of them were being aggressive and shoving their money cups in your face. I did feel safe walking here as they are a lot of tourist in the area. It is very easy to get here as there are metro stations nearby and the bus runs here often.

The restaurant was quasi empty at the time but because it was a Saturday night, he complained that he had to redo all of his planning... warning: they do not post on the wine menu that you can buy wine by the glass. After much debate with our friends as we each wanted different wines, we settled for two half bottles. One, the wine was horrible! It tasted like vinegar. Absolutely appalling! And we had to pay for it. We won't be back!

Every single thing that we ordered, I loved! I had chosen to order from the preset menu that had a great selection which included an appetizer, entree, fromage, and dessert, the husband decided to order À la carte since he was in a foie gras kind of mood which wasn't offered in the present menu. My Order - appetizer: tuna tartare with herbs on salmon carpaccio, olive oil, lemon - entree: crispy duck breast with foie gras - dessert: profiteroles house speciality with hot chocolate His Order - appetizer: house specialty foie gras - second appetizer: warm foie gras with caramelized apples - entree: seared filet of beef rossini - dessert: (he shared with me) Words can't even describe how amazing everything was, but if I had to rank the top 3 meals I've had in my ENTIRE life this meal would be in the top three for sure. It is that amazing! As for service, the people here are so nice, the owner went by every table to have conversations with everyone and not only did he do it just once, but he did it multiple times; on the floor making sure that everyone enjoyed their dining experience. (oh and btw, our bill came out to a total of 274 € = $385, which was worth every penny).
