Our son had a great first experience and introduction to horsemanship and riding. He was so excited to finally be able to ride a horse/unicorn and loved being around Brownie and the other horses. We originally signed up for the group class but when it didn't meet the minimum number to take place I reached out to Liz about alternate arrangements. She promptly responded with some options for a private, 1-hour session at a great price. We traveled to the location Sunday evening and were impressed with how beautiful the farm was. Liz gave our son a hand-on lesson on how to lead a horse, the different brushes to clean their coat and hooves, putting the saddle on, and mounting the horse before he got to ride. Her care and love for horses really came through and she was a kind and patient teacher. Thanks for giving our son a memorable experience and look forward to doing it again soon. read more

We had "Unicorn" Brownie come to our house this week when our three year-old grandbaby Sabrina came for a visit. What a wonderful surprise it was for her!! Brownie was so gentle and patient that she made Sabrina and her friend Charlotte comfortable enough to enjoy the many rides! They had such a fabulous time. Liz was wonderful! "Pony Riding" Class an absolute Disappointment!!! We had booked a two hour pony riding and grooming class for $125 and my child got to ride the pony for exactly SIX MINUTES!!!!!!! We arrived and there was a large group of kids and families. We got split up into two groups and it was one pony for about 8-10 kids. So they started talking about saddles and all kinds of nonsense that NO child cares about. Then the kids took turns to brush the pony's hair for exactly 60 seconds each. Then each kid got to pretend they were cleaning the pony's hooves for a few seconds. Not too mention that it's dangerous to have three year olds stand right behind the pony's hooves. One kick and a skull and face can be smashed. More talking about pony's that no one caref about. I don't even remember because no one cared for infos that you can look up online. So there we were at one hour of talking and one minute of grooming. Next - waiting for your turn of riding the pony up and down their driveway. Timing of ride - a maximum of 3 minutes. Then waiting for your turn again for a ride up and down the little driveway. So after two hours and $125 you got a minute of "grooming" the pony while 10 other kids do the same. And 6 minutes TOTAL of riding the pony on their driveway. Oh. And not to mention - the animals were very dirty and very very hungry. Therefore not very cooperative. Poor ponies. What kind of bullshit business is this even? Save your money!!!! read more

What a great experience! Liz was easy to work with from booking to coordinating the rides on site. The children loved her and she provided each child with the experience of riding as well as getting to know her pony. Safety was a big concern and Liz taught each child how to sit on the pony during the ride, as well as having each child wear a helmet. The helmet was disinfected after each rider used it. The question is would we contract with her if we were doing another event? The answer is, without hesitation. Liz is a professional, her ponies are well loved and cared for, and she truly understands children. read more

What a horrible experience with this organizer and their Easter event! We waited to purchase tickets because the weather looked terrible (especially for a 1yr old) on their original date, Saturday. When we saw they rescheduled to Sunday, we called the number ON THEIR WEBSITE to inquire about the possibility of tickets since it was closed online for the Saturday date and there wasn't an option for Sunday. My sister spoke to a gentleman,and we asked several times to be sure, and he said we could walk up day of to get a ticket. She was adamant to make sure we confirmed this answer since the eventbrite said online tickets only-no walk ups. So we got up early and went there today and made sure to get there early (with a 1 yr old, and a sleepy one, this is a feat!) and not a single person I talked to could tell us where the main table/person was or anything. I asked multiple vendors, parking attendant, etc. until I finally saw a young woman with a clipboard. She offered to connect us with her boss since she stated they were sold out and I had explained that we called and asked at least 4 or 5 times to be sure and they said ieach time that it was no problem and to walk up/come. The boss (owner, I assume) was a woman in a purple jacket. After explaining the situation, her response was to VERY rudely state that we did not call her cell phone personally which was on the Facebook page (as we apparently messed up by calling the phone number on their actual, official website). She also has been "doing this for years" so it was our problem no t knowing this...I'm sorry, my sister is a new parent and visiting the area and I'm a transplant with no kids, so really?? And if she made the exception for us she would have to do it for everyone (there was literally no one else there trying to walk up for a ticket). Which, ok, I get that concept but there is still a way to provide good customer service and not be an abhorrent person when there is an obvious miscommunication amongst your staff, especially when things are promised to a customer. Cute vendors though and the Easter bunny was very nice. Unfortunately I'll never return or support this "business" as the owner treated us absolutely disgusting. Good thing we are doing bunny pictures with the pros soon and our own egg hunt/pictures. The real person hurt in this was my nephew, so kudos to this company keeping their eyes on what is important. Next year, we will go to the Leesburg Safari Zoo. Better/more animals and they've never treated any of my visits/business horribly. You can obviously see the difference between a brick and mortar business and a woman who thinks she knows how to run one out of her back yard. Such a Shame. read more
