I brought in about 60-100 grams worth of silver jewelry all of which I knew was real and was stamped, but I also had a few items that were separate that I told him I wasnt sure about so I wanted to have them checked. He grabbed one ring and said they were fake so I said ok thats fine, exactly why it was in my un sure pile. He didnt even look at any of the pile of silver I had, just said "im good". He also stated how he wants to fake being on vacation so he doesn't have to buy anything from anyone. Then don't run a business. Also I left a review on Google and he replied saying everything I had was counterfeit when he didn't even look at it and said "thats why we kicked you out". You didnt kick me out you freaking loser, I stayed completely polite and said ok no problem thank you for your time and let myself out of your junk store. Go on Google reviews to read all his reviews, he tries to gas light people with the bad reviews always trying to turn it around and make it look like they were lying or the customer was in the wrong. As a long-time customer of Harper's, I will not be returning…read more We bought a GE washer/dryer from them in December of 2023. The washer made a loud and jarring "boom" sound when it began its cycle, and several times throughout the washing cycle. Harper's came out to look at it twice, and said that there was nothing wrong with it - perhaps it was a plumbing issue (though the previous washer had not made this sound). We had a plumber check it out and it was not a plumbing issue. We have listened to the very loud booms from the machine (which reverberate throughout the house) for 2 years until it stopped working last week. Our repairman said it needed a new control board, which he installed. This still did not fix the problem. His finding was that the "boom" sound was a defective drive motor, which was not detected by Harper's on 2 occasions. When I went to Harper's today to tell them about the situation they took no responsibility, telling me their repair person had looked at the machine and not found anything wrong with it, and unfortunately the warranty was up. I find this very frustrating, as there was clearly something wrong with the machine from the beginning, and their lack of getting to the root of the problem caused it to break after only two years. Yes, technically it is no longer their problem, but they could have done way better on this. Extremely disappointing.

The stock is…read moreconstantly rotating, the deals are good, and there's a lot of great stuff in decent condition to check out. I've been beefing up both my work and normal wardrobe on the cheap here, since the clothing selection is not exclusively 1990s shoulder pad blazers and crepe skirts (although there is that, too, if you need a hot purple [and i mean the color 'hot purple'] dress with puffy sleeves for something). As with any thrift store, you have to sift, but if you've got a reasonably good eye and aren't averse to trying things on over your clothes in the dressing area, you'll probably find something you like. You can also find a large selection of used books, videos, small appliances, dish sets, shoes, quilts, cheesy framed holographic unicorn prints, etc. Don't expect Williams-Sonoma up in here, but if you're not picky, the stuff they've got is great. They have the usual "certain price tag colors = 1/2 off" thing going on all the time, and on Saturdays, everything else is 1/3 off as well. Pretty sweet!
