His prices were also better than the other plumbers who responded to my quote request. It turned out that the kitchen tap I purchased would not fit (I had a feeling it was not going to work). He removed the old kitchen tap, which was what I was having trouble with, and gave me some tips on how to install the new tap once I found one that fit. He then installed the bathroom tap and provided some other advice relating to the bathroom sink. He did not charge me for the kitchen tap installation. I found a kitchen tap that fit, and it is now installed and working great thanks to John. I will call him if I need any plumbing in the future. I recommend John L Plumbing and Drain Cleaning for your plumbing needs.

We called to have our furnace looked at as we had no heat. When the technician came he said the…read morethere was a major part that needed to be replaced but it was under warrantee. It took several days to get the part in and once it was installed I was handed a bill for $2000. I was told that $500 of that bill was to return the old part to the manufacturer. Upon investigating I found out that the manufacturer covers the cost of returning defective parts under warrantee and this repair should have been around $500 to $600. I requested an itemized bill from them and was told that they don't do that and was ignored when I made further inquiries. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We woke up to no heat, made the call to Handy Brothers and within the next half hour at the least Sheldon arrived to face repairs to a twenty odd year old furnace. Within the next hour, he diagnosed and explained the problem, got the heat running, knowledgeably and efficiently answered all our questions, helped us ( through a low-pressure conversation) choose the best replacement furnace for our home and while waiting to be sure the furnace was going to run efficiently, he put a new switch on the fireplace. Great technician and fantastic service from the phone call to this posting. (They have already called to make arrangements to come measure for the new low energy, high efficiency furnace unit). In all the years we have called on Handy Brothers for their knowledge, expertise, maintenance and purchasing we have never been disappointed. Highly recommend Sheldon for his personable approach, level of knowledge and obvious skill since we are warm as toast now!

So I want to start off by saying as far as installation / and craftsmanship these guys are awesome…read more However, this is quickly dwarfed by the shear level of unprofessional-ism, disorganization, lack of communication and all around BS from the admin team. We engaged them to install an AC and Furnace for our office. Did all the financing paperwork, which they reviewed (ended up being wrong), and had several site visits from Jason the owner. They told us all was good and lets book. We did. turns out they jumped the gun. The end result was them pointing fingers and blame at me and my staff, when we asked for their help and guidance multiple times. And lastly, while i was out of town they sent a crew to remove the newly installed equipment with out the decency / professionalism to try and figure out a solution to a mess they 90% created. Bottom line, if you have upfront cash for the project they are awesome, if not RUN!!!! They do not know what they are doing when it comes to sales and customer service. Also during the removal they damaged our newly installed flooring.

When I came home from work , I noticed the fridge had been damaged . I was not seeking compensation, I was seeking accountability. Jason refused to call me or come look at the damage. In an email he said that my irresponsible tenant must have done it, then continued to send threatening emails when I asked him to call me. Myself , my husband and my tenant were all in the room where the damage occurred and would have noticed it. I realize this is is a first world problem and paid my bill in full. Very disappointed.
