Dreading inflation and rising construction costs, we got several estimates on what it would cost, given our yard is enclosed by a fence meaning most work would need done by hand. Enter Joey from Surge Construction! From estimate to end he was nothing but professional! Gave us a very reasonable quote, worked with our yard constraints and kept us in the loop each step of the way. If something changed from our original plan he let us know our options and what he could do. He and his crew were in and out in less than a week and we have a beautiful new reinforced concrete basement steps! Joey is super personable, and easy to work with. Not once did we feel pressured or talked down to when working with him. We would def recommend him and his crew for any other masonry or remodeling work anyone needs done!

I had not had it cleaned in 30 years. When they showed up (on time) he inspected my chimney flue with a mirror and light and informed me that there was no creosote buildup in the chimney at all therefore no cleaning was needed. They could have very easily pretended to clean it and charged me but didn't. He saved me about $180. Thankfully they were honest with me. That type of integrity is rare in the business world today. From my experience I would highly recommend Commonwealth Chimney Sweeps to anyone needing any service they provide. Thanks for the honesty!!!!!!!

Everything started off great with Panther Remodel during the initial meeting, but unfortunately…read morethings went downhill after that. Communication and scheduling were a constant issue throughout the project. I took off multiple days from work just to find out no one was coming to work on my kitchen. Instead of getting updates proactively, I had to reach out almost every night and morning just to confirm whether someone was actually coming the next day. While I did receive a small discount due to the inconvenience, it did not make up for the time and frustration caused by the poor communication and scheduling problems. I originally asked for a certain type of flooring, but was told they had another company that could provide a different floor instead. While it was not exactly what I wanted, I agreed and moved forward with it. One of the biggest issues for me was finding out that the work was not being completed by actual company employees, but instead everything was subcontracted out by the owner. That was never made clear upfront, and it created a lack of accountability throughout the project. The actual work looked good at first, but I had concerns about a hole in the subfloor. I was told it had been fixed, but all that was done was two small pieces of wood were placed in the hole instead of properly repairing it. You could feel a soft spot every time you walked over that area. I was reassured multiple times that it was "nothing to worry about" and that the floor was covered under warranty. Now, close to a year later, the flooring is coming apart because the issue was never properly repaired in the first place. What has been most frustrating is the lack of response. I have emailed and sent text messages over the last week and have not heard anything back. I expected much better communication, workmanship, and follow-through, especially when it involves warranty work and issues that were pointed out during the installation.

Mule Construction was who we selected. Why? We had several businesses over to provide estimates. Kenny was personable and professional. He alleviated my fear that the project would be segmented. He promised me that he and his crew would be on time every day. He worked closely with me to make sure I was able to pick out everything going in to the project. I ended up picking 90 percent of all the features for our new master based on his recommendations. I can't tell you how much this helped. It's difficult to have the vision, but he made sure everything would look amazing and appropriate. Oh? And he kept things clean! He even had his crew come and professionally clean when the project was wrapping up. I'm in heaven to be able to stay in my home. I can't wait until our next opportunity to work with Kenny and his crew.
