Dan was born and still lives in Louisville, KY. Dan has been flying hot air balloons for over 40 years! Dan has attended over 40 years of BFA sponsored safety seminars. He has held the seat of President of the BSOK which stands for The Balloon Society of Kentucky. Dan is a Life Member of the Balloon Federation of America BFA sense the year 1986. Dan was also a FAA repairman certificate holder with Aerial Promotions. Aerial Promotions was a Eipper ultralight aircraft dealer. Dan also helped train and flew out of a air park located near the Good Will store in Middletown, KY. Dan has also navigated up the OHIO river to the Kentucky River.
