We were all really hungry and were disappointed that our food was cold when it arrived. The wings: Rockera, Tamarindo Morita, and Tajín all had good flavor and would've been amazing had the food actually been hot when we got it. That was very disappointing because the mozzarella in the mozzarella sticks were cold and hard. The server was ok, but he shouldn't have brought out cold food. I only ate my fries as they weren't super cold. I would go back to watch the rock band and have a beer, but not to get food with the fear of it being cold again.

It's a cool place, the staff are really helpful and friendly (even to those who don't speak a lot of Spanish..), and all of the bands we saw were a lot of fun. The nights we were there, it was ska core, oi, and some rocksteady. The bands play upstairs and there is seating downstairs, the music that was played downstairs was really good too, mostly just good ol' punk. One last note: ladies, take toilet paper with you, as there isn't always any in the bathroom

The bartenders take mixology very seriously and work so hard, they have no time to engage. I'm a gabber and enjoy talking at a bar. That was impossible at Felina. Came to CDMX looking for a taste of the nightlife and found some flavor with AM Local in Condesa…read more It's definitely club but more of a Brooklyn vibe than Manhattan - it's more chill with hipsters, cheap drinks, and GREAT music. Low key place for a fun night out without getting too dolled up. Not knowing when things started in CDMX, we came to AM Local (300 pesos for a cover for 2) at around 12:30am and the place had very few people. Not wanting to ditch just yet, we got 2 drinks (280 pesos all together LOL) and hung out for a bit. Little by little, people trickled in and by 3am, it was way more lively. The DJ was playing some fun house music, not your standard David Guetta, music build/drop type of stuff. These were some tunes. There are a couple floors to this club, but almost everyone was on the second. The ceiling is completely made of lights, which oscillate between a rainbow of colors. Overall, we had a great time and were glad the party showed. Looking for an awesome club in CDMX without the pretense? AM Local is your place.
