Pretty much the only car service I use in Hoboken. I use them to take me home from the airport! They even track my flight and are always there within a few minutes of me grabbing my luggage and heading outside Sometimes the phone is busy though.. Especially on weekends. They may want to add a few more phone lines. read more

They are horrible. I called yesterday to arrange a car for an elderly woman for today, told them i would need to use a credit card, I agreed to the 5 dollar service fee and told them that i would also like to tip the driver 10 dollars on the card because it would take her a little time to get herself in the car. They said NO PROBLEM call tomorrow at 4pm for the 5pm ride. I called today at 4pm and they told me "Cash only" I said yesterday you said you would take a credit card "machine is broken" . No I am sorry or anything to try to help me. Horrible. Use another service, these people do not deserve your money. They would leave your grandmother out in the rain. read more

I've used Hoboken First Class before within Hoboken since they are one of the few services that only charges $5 instead of $6 when you call for a car and arrive at your door quickly. This was the first time I used them for a trip outside Hoboken City limits, something I may never do again. Similar to Laura C, I was quoted one price, and then charged another. I usually use Downtown Limo because they have the best prices, but decided to shop around this time. Low and behold, Hoboken First Class quoted me a rate $8 less expensive than Downtown Limo to go from Bushwick in Brooklyn, to Hoboken, so I scheduled the service. I checked my credit card a few days later and I was charged $10 more than I should have. Hoboken First Class basically told me I was a wrong and that none of their dispatchers quoted me that rate. So I should have just gone with my usual choice, Downtown Limo. Lesson learned. Update: The owner emailed me back and offered to credit me $10 for my next trip with them, hence my "A-OK" rating. read more

I'd give Hoboken First Class an excellent review. They've been a nice upgrade for cab services in Hoboken. I've always used them for airport runs as well as around town. Though here on passover/easter weekend 2019 nobodies home and their phone is going straight to voicemail that is of course full. Maybe to tomorrow on Sunday they'll be back for my Newark airport run???? read more

Actually used Hoboken First Class twice within a couple of hours today. Thanks to all the snow that we've had around here lately, driving into Hoboken really wasn't a option for a appointment that I had a 10:00 this morning.Called another car service that I normally take and they weren't available. The dispatcher said 10 minutes and within that time they were at my door. Then a couple or hours later I tried again for a return trip back to Jersey City. This time I was given the response of 5 minutes till they pick me up.Yet again it was less than 5 minutes later I was on my way home. The driver was very professional & was even dressed in a suit. Didn't know that cabbies did that anymore!Even the car itself seemed like it was brand new.Thought I was in a Lincoln town car.Actually found out that it was a Mazda Avalon hybrid. Now maybe they charge a few dollars more than other cab companies, but if your in a pinch give HFC a call. They have quick & reliable service. read more

Holy terrible reviews Batman! Not sure what everyone else is whining about, but First Class is the only car service in Hoboken I'll call. I travel a lot for work, and I use them to and from Newark Airport every time, for about a year and a half now. They are always on time, courteous, the drivers are safe, and the price is reasonable. The cars are always clean and a lot of the time the drivers have water bottles to give you and magazines on the seat for a longer ride. They're also great for going around Hoboken locally - $5, not like the scam $6 cars. The other night I was up on 13th street wanting to get downtown and didn't want to walk alone at night. I called up at 9:55pm to request a car, and by 10:01pm I was in the car and on my way. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is the payment system to and from the airport. Their credit card payment "system" requires that you call up from the car and give your CC number once you've arrived, then the driver writes you a receipt. They should really either A. take your CC number when you call and make the reservation (I've tried this before, they won't) or B. invest in Square or some other mobile payment option. Otherwise, I highly recommend this car service. read more

Really not a trustworthy or friendly business. Do not recommend for the following reasons: - unprofessional management that misquote prices, treat paying customers poorly and hang up the phone on you when you question a price or anything they don't want to hear. - drivers that are not professional - drivers that put your life at risk with how aggressively dangerously they drive ( making close call turns, beeping horns ) All I want is a peaceful, reliable, safe ride home when I come home from my work trips Didn't happen on the two occasions I used them. I will no longer return. read more

I always use them when I'm in Hoboken or union city. It's always a $7 drive going from uc down to Hoboken and that's the cheapest I've found. They always come in the time that they say. Efficient and safe drivers! read more

This is consistently the best and most dependable way to get around town. The cars are always best-in-class, the dispatcher is always accurate and swift in getting a vehicle to my location (never more than 10 minutes), and the drivers are always friendly. I'm going out of my way to rate them right now after seeing the flatly inaccurate reviews and being insulted FOR these guys...that's how much I appreciate their service. I will continue to use these guys several times a week; because if ain't broke, don't fix it! read more

I had two Uber drivers cancel my ride from Hoboken to JFK while I was getting into the car. I was able to call First Class and they had a driver to pick me up in 5 minutes. Thanks for the speedy service and fair price! I will definitely use them again. Clean car and friendly driver. read more

Tired of using the dead beat car compines in town with the broken down no good cars . I finally found a reliable company that stick to realistic time when they say 5 to 10 mins that's just what they mean . Safe New Cars and SUV's , Drivers that actually get out of the car to help if needed . I highly recomend anyone to try these guys. read more

Hands down the absolute worst taxi/car service I have EVER experienced!! I had scheduled a car pick up 1 week in advance for 4:20am on Sunday morning, 4/07/13. I called again on Saturday afternoon, 4/06 to confirm my pick up from Weehawken to Newark airport. At 4:21am on Sunday I called Hoboken First Class to inquire on my drivers status. The gentleman who answered the phone was clearly asleep and said he would call me back. After almost 10 mins, I called back again and was told the driver had a flat tire! BS!! If he had a flat tire, why didn't someone call me earlier to inform me? He suggested I call another company to get a ride to the airport because it would be another 20 mins and I would miss my flight. I did in fact call my local taxi company who arrived in 5 mins...however we did almost miss our flight. Hoboken First Class Taxi is not reliable... Please do not use this company! read more

Called for three cabs and was told 7 minutes. Came down to meet the cabs at 7 minutes only to find all three cabs had been relocated due to not being there on time. The dispatcher never took my name or information in order to follow up with me when the cabs were downstairs. Never using this cab company again. read more

I usually hate writting bad reviews because we are humans and humans are flawed, but this service goes above and beyond to be rude and nasty. I really don't understand how they are still in service. I called first class to pick me up so the dispatcher said 5 minutes, so I walked out the door after getting my keys and my cane. I go outside and see a car just sitting there no label on the car or nothing that indicated he was my driver. The man never even questioned if I was waiting for a cab he just drove off. I went to a near by store because going back home was not an option, and asked them to call them back. The dispatcher went on a rant about how I left his driver waiting and he lost money. So same guy came back and picked me up. So I tell the driver what my destination is and he doesn't understand where I'm telling him then he drives me 2 blocks up just to be like right here this is your destination, I'm sorry but why tf would I need a cab for just to go 2 blocks. I tell the driver no so I continue asking him if he knows where these places are and he keeps saying no.in my mind I'm asking are you even a real cab driver. But yes luckily I made it to the right location. So now I'm done with what I had to do so I ask another person to call me another cab, the dispatcher just kept being rude and yelling like he didn't even want me as a customer, so I got picked up and driven to my next location, and once I was done I had someone else call for another cab, and once again with the rudeness. So this time when the driver picked me up I asked him if his dispatcher was having a bad if he's ok cause I truly was concerned for him. But come to find out he's always like that. Dear dispatcher, Let me apoligize for the idiot who hurt you that bad that now you have to take it out on the world. I hope your life gets better and you begin to see better days. Kindness gets you along way. Rudeness just gets you fucked up, remember that. I truly hope your days turn around and if you hate people that much then you should find another job where your interaction with other humans are limited. read more

I will officially never call First Class again! I used this car service for family members and airport trips in addition to a taxi ride almost daily around 7:45am. I make it a point to call at least 10 mins before I actually needed the taxi. I thought 10 mins is fair window, being that hoboken is 1 square mile. Going from 4th and grand to the Path is also a very short trip. Each time I called I was advised that my driver would be there in "5 minutes. Cannot even explain how frustrating it was to wait 5 then 10 then 15 and then 20 for the car to show up! I called to see if the taxi was coming I was assured the driver was "around the corner" " 1 min away" What BS! I Lost count of the times I was late to work after the dispatcher reassured me the driver was "on his way now" If he told the truth, at least I would have the opportunity to walk! Will never call again. I am shocked as how little they value a repeat customer ( who tips!) If you need a reliable car service, Do NOT waste your time! read more

I called to reserve the service several hours before the trip, but the car didn't come, no calls, no notifications and no one answered the call when I was dialing back! read more

Waited 20-30 minutes for a cab... Driver didn't know where he was going so I had to use my google maps. He barely spoke English. Horrible experience. Stay away. read more

By far the best cab company in Hoboken and Jersey City. All brand new cars, great customer service. Would highly recommend it to everyone!

I had a very positive experience with Hoboken First Class, following a very poor experience with a competitor. They were there exactly when they said they would be, the driver offered to go out of his way and wait for me in the car while I went to the ATM, (though I said he could just leave me at a different ATM that would have put me out of my way), he was courteous and even turned down the AC because I looked cold. The little things. read more

No stars!!! After having a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this place....HOBOKEN FIRST CLASS!! First Class NO WAY! There were four of us and my boyfriend sat in the front (carrying my overnight travel bag). We had to jump out so fast and he (my boyfriend) did not grab my bag!!! I called immediately since in my bag besides personal belongings..was my ipad, phone charger and cash I had just earned as a makeup professional for a wedding. They were of ZERO HELP tracking down the driver. In the morning more calls were made by my sister, no bag. Called again, and suddenly the bag was there...with no ipad and no cash. The bag was handed in by the driver directly to the owner. WHERE COULD MY THINGS BE?? Customer service was beyond horrible especially when I know I was being told a HUGE LIE!!! Yes, I was upset with my boyfriend for not grabbing my bag but mistakes happen. My ipad and cash were stolen by Hoboken First Class read more

Nothing close to first class service. Waited 45mins for a car that never showed up! UNRELIABLE!

The best car service in North Jersey, especially if Caesar is your driver. How is friendly, professional, and a walking GPS. The cars are clean and offer little perks like free bottled water and newspaper. I have used them probably hundreds of times and have never been let down. The WORST experience. The owner told me one price and then charged another. When I had called about it before I even began to explain he picked up the phone and said that was the price, clearly this happens often because I didn't even say hello yet. He was the rudest man, did not hear me out and kept cutting me off telling me I misunderstood and would not even let me speak. Normally don't write reviews but couldn't believe a man was speaking to a customer let alone a woman the way he was. Very upsetting and do not want another customer to go through this, worst customer service ever!! read more

Doesn't even deserve A star. Seriously. Morons behind a dirty wheel. It's a glorified taxi cab. Because they are black cars doesn't mean you'll get the same service. It's a circus of incompetent drivers. I swear monkeys could do better job (nothing against monkeys). If you're staying at The W, they push this car service on you. I have my own car service preference and thank god. Since this was a quick trip to a mall I decided to get a cab. A hotel employee asks if you need a car and they quickly get you one. My mistake. The next day I used my own car service (because I was going farther). I made my reservation, my driver calls me, I go down stairs and they are literally hassling the driver. I know most of the drivers they send and he tells me it's like a mafia, they don't appreciate other car service companies servicing the hotel, they expect every guest to use them. IMO, the car service should match the hotel. I don't know why The W Hotel uses them. Oh and BTW, I use BCE Limousines 201-440-5433. They are close, and service all of NJ & NY. read more

Took them two times and each time was awesome. Prompt with good cars and priced well leaves my bf and I very happy!

I have lived in the area for 14 years and have used this car service consistently. Lately they have failed to deliver epicly-- leaving me stranded, not picking up their phones, and making me wait for 20 minutes when I called way ahead of time. Totally unacceptable. Will look for a more reliable service now. read more

I scheduled a car service for a flight departing from & arriving at Newark (I live in Hoboken). The first driver I had was a man who did not introduce himself, didn't know my destination and proceeded to talk on the phone (hands free headphones) the ENTIRE TRIP. Not only is that rude, it's unsafe! He drove 20+mph over the speed limit almost the entire time, swerved between lanes (without signaling at times) and took exit ramps at such a high speed that I was plastered against the car door. I called and reported him immediately upon arriving at my gate and communicated my displeasure at such an unacceptable experience and that I expected a much improved experience on the return drive. Chris (manager) said he would communicate this to the owner and ensured my experience would be significantly better. Needless to say, it wasn't. My flight was scheduled to arrive at 11:30PM; we arrived early (11:15PM) and the driver was nowhere to be found. Driver called me at 11:27PM saying he's 5-10min out and arrives 15min later at the wrong terminal. He thankfully drove safely (after I told him about my first experience) but didn't know my name until the end of the trip when I paid, then proceeded to stare and say "I like your eyes". I couldn't get out of that car fast enough!! Not to mention the fact that management did not offer compensation or reimbursement of any type for these horrendous ordeals. I can't say it clearly enough, DO NOT USE THIS CAR SERVICE!!! read more

For the second time (shame on me for giving second chances), this car service has stranded me at the Newark Airport when I pre-arranged pick up from an arriving flight. The driver said C Terminal Level 1 Door 4 and he'd be there in 3 min which is where I stood for 30 min in the cold. I even asked if he meant Passenger Pick Up area 4 which is different. He did not respond to my texts. I called the main number who listened to my situation and then they never called me back. What kind of people are these? Hoboken is not a large city. Why they aren't afraid of losing regular business to Uber is beyond me. read more

Hoboken first class is an outstanding vehicle service. at first I had certain doubts about how good the service was because of their low Price) but once i requested their service i was pleased to know that their is a quality car service we can rely on here, at Hoboken. I have used Hoboken First Class for business trips four or five times in the last six months, either to LaGuardia or Newark. I have always called the day before and my pickup time is usually anywhere from 4-5am. I have never had an issue. I usually call 15 minutes before they are schedule to pick me up to make sure someone is on the way, and the dispatcher always calls when the driver arrives. You can pay with a credit card in the car, they will give you a hand written receipt (usually they just have me fill out all the information). I was skeptical because of the reviews on yelp, but I think with calling in advance (more than 5 minutes before you want to be picked up), you will be fine. read more
