As I said earlier we were the last customers, so Thursday morning as we left to return home, we stopped back to exchange it only to be told very rudely, "ALL SALES FINAL" it was a $4 necklace that a 14 year old girl used her own money to buy. The fact that it couldn't be exchanged is one thing but to talk to a young girl so rudely and unprofessionally was upsetting. When we return to the area, as we plan to do, we certainly will take our business elsewhere.

Some of the local gift shops have nice items - sure - but I have found they are mostly overpriced or mostly all homemade items. Parkers has a great selection of everything from toys, t-shirts, mugs, sandals, purses, jewelry candy etc. The list goes on and on. I enjoy every visit and always find something new to take home as a treasure. I love the jewelry the most!! Parkers has a nice selection of homemade jewelry as well as sterling silver and much more. They are open into the fall season. If it's before Memorial Day or after Labor Day I always call to ensure they are open. I was not able to "check in" when I visited the store over the weekend. I kept getting an error message stating I was too far away to check in but - I was there? I think it might be a mailing address or something off on how it's listed on yelp. No thank you, I said hoping to direct questions my way. The sales guy went on (while taking the card from my hand) to explain to my male friend upcoming deals and sales. Was I imagining this?
