First time going to Hobby Lobby. The plethora of things you never knew you needed are here. All employees were super helpful. The prices were reasonable & if you want something, I'm pretty sure you'll find it here & then some. Overall it's a fun store. read more

Learned about yelp yesterday so I'm gonna be busy. This store was well stocked, kind workers. Probably not the store staff fault but in shipping Hobby Lobby should ask for the breakable items to be stored better. A lot of cute things with broken ears or antlers or chips on fragile stuff. Unless things are on sale goodness me stuff in some aspects is expensive. read more

We checked out this Hobby Lobby approximately 25 minutes before close of business. I was surprised to see a vast amount of Christmas merchandise still for sale. NOTE: It didn't appear to be due to the "Christmas in July theme. ;) I was pleasantly surprised to find a generous amount of clearance merchandise in the middle of the store. I took advantage and hollered up some hostess gifts.. for when we gather again. By the time I perused the clearance sections as well as some of the wall art, it was closing time. At least I didn't leave empty handed. 'Twas a win for both Hobby Lobby and my gift recipients. My mom was able to score some popsicle sticks for one of her craft projects. All in all, this was a productive impromptu shop. read more

I went into Hobby Lobby to do some shopping. As I went in I heard a dog barking. It appears that a woman brought her pit bull into the store. This was NOT a service dog. She stated that the dog was fiercely protective of her, but was sweet. She said she takes the dog frequently. I did not know that dogs were permitted in the store, so I asked one of the managers. I was told that this was fine and dogs were permitted. I love dogs and have two of my own. They are loved and pampered, however, I do not believe that a store is an appropriate place for a dog. Service dogs are a blessing and are a totally different situation. I see situations such as this as a lawsuit waiting to happen. I will note that my homeowner's insurance specifically does not cover rottweilers, pit bulls or any other large dogs, I do love the store, the selection is great, but I do not need to be in a store, with a dog, and one who is large and is barking at people. will find another place to shop read more

Great selection of seasonal decor but pricing issues at the register led me to leave with nothing. Misinformation from an employee and incorrect signage led to no purchases and frustration. While shopping a store employee reminded me to go to their website and get a 40% off coupon of one item, but I later learned no such coupon exists. Needless to say, I was initially delighted to discover I could get 40% off and subsequently decided to get two of the item instead of one. While waiting in line at the register, I couldn't find the coupon online so I asked the passing manager for help only to learn Hobby Lobby discontinued the coupon over a year ago (February 2021). Upon checkout, I was expressly unhappy to learn that two of the three items that were on an end cap with a huge 50% off sign were not 50% off and were instead, regular price. The cashier called the same manager, and I asked him to credit the same price due to incorrect signage. His first excuse was that the items were on the incorrect end cap, placed there by a customer. I told him, they were tagged on shelf because I had checked the item tag to make sure that wasn't the case since they were the only two of those items on that end cap. Both were properly tagged on shelf. The manager then changed his story, stating the sign said the items on sale were from a different collection that was elsewhere in the store. When I pointed out this was deceptive, he defended his signage placement and stated that they had signs all over the store "advertising" the sale that were not near the actual sale items. He, thus, blamed me for the misunderstanding and offered no price change. I think the incorrect signage placement was very tricky and deliberately misleading. I especially think this because the manager first lied stating the items I selected were misplaced then immediately afterwards told me about the sign placement over items not on sale, without ever going to the end cap in question. For a place claiming Christian values, the business was not practicing them today, in my opinion. read more

They have a huge selection of items and everything is always on sale! I visited tonight and there was beeping continually happening near the front of the store... to the point where I had a difficult time focusing because of how annoying the noise was. I asked the cashier while checking and she told me that it's their alarm system and although it can be turned off, the manager refuses to for whatever reason. How horrible for your employees to have to endure that all day, at least as a customer I can leave to get away from the sound. read more

Leaving this store very disappointed. I ask an employee for assistance, she directed me to ask an employee at the front of the store. After going to the front, I ask a second employee. The employee responded by saying "I doubt it" then went back to doing whatever she was doing before I approached her. After I left I called to make a manager aware, he was equally disappointing with his response. Wish they at least pretended to want to help?? read more

Let me first say I love Hobby Lobby and I have shopped Hobby Lobby for years back in Oklahoma. I experienced my first unpleasant experience at the Mt Dora store. I had the unfortunate experience dealing with the framing manager Gaylord. I have never been unsatisfied with anything purchased at Hobby Lobby nor their customer service until dealing with him today. The frame I brought in was measured by another nanager and measured incorrectly and the new frame is too big to match as a set. I brought in my item to be framed and the other already framed item on August 9th for a August 24th Birthday surprise. Well, surprise on me..wrong measurements and he "orders his frames on Tuesday, so I won't get it until 27th at the earliest". (****The correct response should have been "let me contact Oklahoma and get that frame here as fast as possible because we made a mistake. **** but it wasn't) When I went to the front I believe the cashier could feel my anger and asked for a store Manager. I explained to her the situation and my dissatisfaction dealing with Gaylord, his attitude, lack of urgency and sympathy. No apology what so ever was ever spoken from his mouth. She stated she would try to make it right...let's see what happens. ***** delayed update: Nick, the area manager made the experience much better, but from our last conversation Gaylord was still employed.
